after doing some serious googling i found this:
Ingredients
2 cups cannabis stems
2 cups water
Directions
Grind the stems into a powder using either a hand grinder, coffee grinder, or mortar and pestle. In a saucepan, bring water to a rolling boil. Add the ground up stems, cover, and reduce heat to low. Let steep for 5 to 10 minutes, and then toss in a teabag or two of your favorite tea. Let steep another 5 minutes. Serve from a teapot that has a strainer in the spout, or strain your tea using a tea strainer, cheesecloth, or coffee filter.
me and my 2 buds are going to try this later. wish me luck. :stoned:
It might work, but there are such low levels of THC in stems, although its always worth a try! Good luck!

Wow, this gives me an idea...can I shred some buds and throw it in my coffee? Is the average temperature of coffee hot enough to release the THC?
If so, I could get high as hell in the middle of psychology with no suspicion.
I dont think it would work, as THC does not readily disolve in water...

I made a relatively weak stem tea a long time ago and it did nothing.

yeah.. stems have little THC, and whatever THC it does have will not dissolve in water.
and
it will taste bad.
