That's a pretty good line-up, I'm not gonna lie, but Bonnaroo sold out a couple years ago. Now it's all commercial MTV bullshit, so I really don't like it that much anymore. I plan on attending a much better festival, Wakarusa, around the same time, plus it's a day longer with a much better line-up. It's all good, but some of those bands for Bonnaroo are weak.

Govt. Mule, Yonder Mountain, and Keller headlining.

Plus over 80 more bands for 4 days of acid tripping fun!

bonnaroo has never had a lineup worse than this years. why the hell is tom petty headlining, i thought it was supposed to be jam bands. id rather have my nuts cut off than watch death cab for cute live, oysterhead sucks, same with radiohead, why they are there also confuses me. i am wondering the same about ben folds.normally it is all jam bands with one or two rap acts thrown in so they can say it has all types of music. this year it appears to be all types of shit

I'm going, got no beef with the artist lineup. I actually like Tom Petty, especially when he brings in external talent and jams with them, and most especially when he brings in some old Blues legends. In fact, I like many of the bands playing this year, so many that it sucks having to choose between one or another, especially on Friday and Saturday.

Main thing is hanging with friends I don't see often anymore since they moved several states away. Even if there was NO music of any kind, I'd have fun because of that.

well ive heard of this festival, but really dont know too much, heard it was a big smoke music fest?

is this true, someone let me know on that part of it, and i might come down there for that

yah it's all that and more.

I just got back from Wakarusa, and damn, let's just say my brain needs a break from all the acid and rolls I did. It's so amazing, and everyone should try and make one festival before they die.

And everyone get out to Waka next year! It's by far a better atmosphere than Bonn! Not nearly as many people and better variety to choose from.

Lawrence Kansas.

The weather was a bit hot during the day, but at night, you couldn't ask for a better atmosphere.
