Just remember as someone mentioned earlier that you risk people knowing your stance on marijuana and being 'outed'. It's one thing if you're in college...hell, the professors smoke. But in high school, it can be a dangerous card to play. Instead of direct confrontation, ask them to clarify thier points and explain their evidence is a good tatic to use. Nothing wrong with being 'curious' about the information...
