yeah i read about that a while ago.. it gives good thoughts on it.. but... i believe its the person who smokes it that make him/her racist violent etc...

Why is marjuana illegal?

Its illegal because of loony, pseudoscientific attacks on marijuana that demonstrate a clear double standard in our national drug policy, I simply have to point it out.

What I really want to know now is: it was illegal because of blasphemy that even people of today can understand. But why can't it be legal now?
We don't have insane racism like how we used to. We'll never have newspapers saying to beware of negros growing stronger from weed.
So why can't it be legal now?
We probably have entirely different reasons to ban it.
So what are they?

Have you not seen the above the influence ads on tv? Have your heard the dangers of BC Bud? How it's soo much stronger and not that normal weed you smoked in the 70's? None of that rings a bell? What do you mean people
understand today? People are ignorant and are lied to about marijuana over and over... did you not think it was 'bad' before you did it the first time?

It is all based on money... that's why the DEA get millions a year to bust people and other 'programs' get to benifit. Just follow the money to see why it's still illegal... but to change that the sterotype of marijuana must change, because it hasn't...

i tried to show that to my parents when they were like "well marijuana is illegal" and i was like oh yea heres why\

they were like well its still illegal no matter how racist the reasons where

i couldn't really argue with that

yeah, if my parents ever caught me, theyd likely just be angry that im breaking the law. the fact that its harmless wouldnt matter to them, although im sure it would make them feel better.

Because cannabis is such a great plant through and through. Basically like cotton is probably one of the best plants on the globe. Except you can smoke it . It would only take a couple smart and courageous lawyers representing a good person to get the federal laws repealed via Freedom of religion and freedom of privacy. Those are probably the 2 biggest rights our government is denying us when it comes to pot.
