If you have the money, always better to buy in a greater quanitity...just because you get more for your money.
As how to smoke a bud...I like to rub it imbetween my thumb and index finger to make kind of a powder that you can either pack a pipe/bong/bubbler/vaporizer/steamroller, cook with, or roll into a joint or a blunt.

if you bought $50 worth, you should get more weed for your money, rather than buying small amounts
as for smoking it, you dont have to break it up unless your rolling a joint or blunt. If your just packing a bong or pipe, you dont have to break it up, just put a nug or however much you want into the bowl and smoke away

Just to add a little info to that:
Its always better to buy more weed if you have the money because it will probally save you money in the long run:
If you get Grams for 20 and and Eigth (3.5g) is 50 then for you to buy 3.5 grams for 20 serperatly it would cost you 70 dollars, so by buying an eigth you save 20 dollars...get it?
and as for how you smokit it...just try to grind it up a little in your fingers and put it into your smoking "Device"
Yeah, if you know your gonna be smoking a lot then buying grams/eighths and quarters isn't even worth it. Buying full ounces at a time would be your best bet.
