OK keep this in mind ....if you did nothing different to your plants and this is happening .....its probaly ok ....aslong as its not half the plant . A very important thing to keep in mind is ....if the growing tips of all your soon to be colas are GROWING,GREEN,NOT UNNATURALY TWISTED,NOT BURNING,NOT WILTED........BE COOL....wait it out a little plants do change....them droping leaves and turning a little yellow at bottom when flowering is like a man hair going gray ...its just a process in life....but not the same with every plant though .

it makes me giggle to see new growers freak out when 1 or 2 leaves turn a little yello or wilt and die ....lol...they always think somthing went wrong or somthing is wrong ...a plant will do its thing bend, stretch, retain water, lose water, drop leaves, turn a little yellow sometimes, think about it , all that plant knows how to do is grow UP...so its the grow tips that needs most of it attention when vegging and even more when flowering....Iv had a few plants look like they where almost completely dead from 1/3 of the plant from the bottom when flowering ....it was killing its self to make as big as buds as it could with what it had to work with ...lol...
As long as its the oldest leaves its ok, and only the few at the bottom.
It's either because they've been used enough by the plant and the plant doesnt need them, or its because new growth has stopped them recieving light, which is a good thing!
Dont worry.

During flowering, the larger fan leaves do start to fall off from the bottom up. On the short, one cola strains when its time to harvest all youll be left with is one huge bud.
