plants less than a month old could be harmed by too much fertizer....I've noticed from over 20 plants that the nutrients in store bought soil that was developed for flowers has all the nutrition the plants need for their first month.

Afterwords, a all natural, fertizer diluted with water that is available at most big stores is sufficient.

I recommend the fertilizers that were are developed for "blooming", especially around the plants flowering time

read the intructions on the bottle

Yeah, after like first month ferts are good for the plant and can only help it... in small doses... dont wanna over fert.

Start off without about 10% of what it says on the bottle, and start adding more and more to see if it harms your plants. Sometimes what it says on the bottle can be waaaay too much for the plant.

Just a suggestion: Shouldn't this be moved to one of the cultivation forums?

Im just doing an experiment with my Lows - Ive added a half strength fert. solution (Tomato feed, 5-5-10) to the soil a few hours before planting the cracked seed, and they seem to love it. Also, I use a full strength fert after 3 weeks every other watering, then at 4 weeks with each watering. They seem to like it, but Im gonna do an organic grow in a few weeks to see how much difference there is in yield.

Im not saying you should do this, but its good to experiment on cheap seeds/bagseed.

do you mean ferilizers like horse manure? or do you mean chemical things

You should use a balanced fert like 10-10-10 or something with all the same numbers and you should wait tell you have four sets of leafs not including the codaledans... I suck at spelling. I wouldn't suggest giving them fert every time you water them you have a good chance of burning them, they should only get fert once a week.
