Smoking with matches ?

It's ok but inefficient. Make sure you let the sulfur burn off first because sulfur dioxide is harmful.

You only want to be using burning wood, let the chemical tip burn completely off first.

i lost all my lighters(i always lose shit when im high:mad:)so i used matches they work but its kinda hard i find it easier to smoke a joint when using matches :stoned:

Lol, i hate matches... stupid things in my book, lightes are always better, but you can use matches for almost anything... lighting joints/blunts/buring houses down... the list goes on

Has anyone ever seen or heard of someone putting the sulphur from the head of a match stick in a J to keep it lit like at certain parts of the J? I knew someone that did it, I thought it was kinda fucked up.

Always use lighters.Sulfer dioxide can really fuck your lungs up.:(

I sometimes carried matches (for my cigs) if I knew I was going to be out drinking heavily, because the odds of me losing my lighter were good. I wouldn't smoke weed with matches, but there's nothing wrong with lighting up a cig with 'em. That way no one steals your lighter ;)

Usually minors can buy the 5 packs that they have by the registers, ive never been carded when buying those. It probably varies by state though. Try it anyways u got nothing to lose.

Here's what I would do, if you have any long wooden sticks like chopsticks or wooden skewers.

Light the candle with the matches, then get the end of the wooden stick burning enough so you have a small flame, then light the bud with that. It should burn down after a few seconds, but I always have some sand to put it out in. Just relight the wooden stick every time you hit instead of wasting all those matches.

I'd advise against smoking with matches. Aside from being inefficient, the exhaust from the fuel gets into your smoke and can make your throat sore. Butane is less dense than the smoke produced from matches so it tends to evaporate quicker and escape upwards faster.

I'm no scientist, based on some college classes, reading over the years, and personal experience.

matches are fine theres no diference in the "fumes" from butane and wood... its just that the butane burns hotter and more efficintly..meaning less carbon is produced...thats all the sulphur is gone once the match is burning regularly... matches are just annoying to use with bongs/pipes cause once your stoned they dont work, you either inhale too hard or your exhale on them before your hit....but if you get bored you can have more funn with matches than with a lighter..
