well that is $6,000, it's not like he stole some womans purse that had 50 dollars in it, tho both are stupid, i'd think of him much stupider if he had stolen a purse and prosecuted when the purse only had a few dollars in it.
next, people don't always do anything for any reason, other then the thrill of it, or so on.... didn't winona ryder steal something that totaled about 20 bucks or some shit? even if it was more expensive she had the money to pay for it... it's sometimes just about the thrill, everyday, lawful life can get really boring sometimes, and some people just can't handle it and have to do something.... for that 'rush'

to truely hate something, you first must know it. do you know about the hip-hop culture? or do you just know what modern day society, tv, and everything else has put in your head?

Yes, I'm an intelligent 18 year old who is on his way to a very media-involved university program and have been studying media and culture for a long time now. Thank you for your deep insight "slipknotpsycho." I can clearly see that you are completely clear of media-influence in your life.

:P Hey, I've got the same attitude as a lot of people here with 4000 posts behind their belts. I'm not hard to get along with by any means, I just don't tolerate blatant stupidity.

i really hate people who have nothing to argue back with, so they either correct someone's spelling/grammar mistakes, or judge someone by their name. my name means shit... and the ONLY way i could put any musical refrence in my name, to not be 'media influenced' is if it was my own music/band, that i made up, by myself.... but then again, i still couldn't, since music counts as media..

He's not doing very well, obviously. You wouldn't see p diddy or jay z stealing a purse.

Going along the grounds of stupidity, wouldn't saying something so ignorant like "Any event involving the elimination and alientation of the hip-hop culture is a good one to me" also be considered stupid?
Just curious.

sorry, I'm definately not one of those people, I just found it kind of funny. You questioned my intelligence, so I questioned yours. I guess I can't blame you though, there's a lot of that going on lately. I'm not looking to argue :smokin:

Yeah, probably. Although, not as stupid as stealing a purse.

Well obviously we just have different tastes in music, sorry to come off so hostile, but it's true, I don't like rap or hip-hop, or anything to do with it.

i'm not trying to argue either, but you're judging me by my name, which is kind of shitty if you ask me... that would be like you saying God v2.0 is crazy for thinking he's the 2nd god...
about the quote, ask anyone that knows me, i despise rap, it drives me up a fucking wall in no time flat. does that mean i want to wipe the existance of it? no.. i dislike rap, becuase the majority of it doesn't take any skill what so ever... and as far as i know none play an instrument.. so.. what you have is someone that gets paid money to ryhme words, then put them to music/beats, that most of them didn't even create themselves... therefore i see no talent, therefore i dislike it... still doesn't mean i have a problem with anyone that's into the hip-hop culture, or want it erased.. see cuz i picture how the world would be if everyone liked/disliked agreed/disagreed, on the same things... to me, then life would be completely boring, and 100% pointless, if everyone was the same, what's the point?

I'm not saying we should harmonize the hobbies of everyone world-wide. I live in Canada, so maybe it's a little different here, I dont know? All I know is that I see a the news everyday about Toronto growing in gun crime at a ridiculous dramatic rate and it makes me ill. It's quite literally the most stereotypical situation ever, it involves gang crime, mainly "gangsters" and their ability to purchase illegal guns. In my opinion a lot of the morals of the hip-hop culture are giving kids negative messages and possibly adding to the gun-death growth rate. I would love to see it go, and I'm sure the families and friends of those who have lost there lives to gun/gang crime may agree.

in all actuallity, it's not the hip-hop culture influencing this violence, it's the gang-culture, that's associated widely with the hip-hop culture, that is infact, promoting this violence. in that aspect, i wish gangs were erased, i'm yet to see one positive come from a gang... you don't see a bunch of bloods running around handing out food to homeless people, you don't see a bunch of crips gathering toys/clothes for orphans... all i've ever seen gangs do is promote drug use (which i'm not totally against, i feel that any drug is safe, as long as it's used right.. that excludes shit like otc pills, huffing fumes or so on, as those aren't 'real drugs', but something that was just discovered more then likely by a teen desperate to get high) and violence, which i am against, but even if one notorious group for violence (gangs for example) were erased/disposed of, there would just be another group rising up soon after to pick up where the previous group (gangs in this example) left off. the world will never be free of violence, it's just not in human nature, true some have better control then others, but i'm yet to know of someone, that's at a relatively decent age (of course a 3-month old isn't violent) that hasn't resorted to violence, some way, some how, at one point in their life, keeping in mind, even abusive words are violence (not cuss words, abusive words, tho sometimes they go hand in hand, but to say cuss words alone promote violence would be to say that bullets alone will kill someone (true they could, but how many deaths do you hear about where someone died by a bullet one way or another that wasn't fired by a gun?).

All you need to know is that he's some disgruntled rapper that got lost in the flock of newer rappers that are a hell of a lot more popular than he is or ever was. Clearly his albums sales are down.
Damn. Black Rob is tight. He just put out his second album, after a 5 year wait, and now he's in jail for seven years. That sucks.

Oh yeah... I don't care for that song. Also, I consider it pop; not hip hop.
