600 hps Question

i have a 600w hps diamond light with a hortilux super hps bulb and i was thinking about getting some clones how many plants will this set up produce i was thinking like 4-6 clones or so any info would help thanks a bunch

How many plants do yo want to grow..

Ya see, the 600watt HPS can grow some monster thick buds... But it does not have GREAT penetration... Idealy you would grow 12-24 smaller plants...

You could have a quicker turn around by growing smaller plants as well.. But this many plants may break the laws in your area..

In that case... 4-6 plants would be fine.. and if you add some side lighting you can grow some MONSTERS!!

so if i was gona grow 12 or so smaller plants for a quick turn around how long would i let the plant veg for before i start the 12 12?? where i live we can have 28 plants

Hi Doesia..

Well... you can start to flower your plants whenever you want...

If you flower 12 plants that are 12 inches tall.. they will all double in size to 24 inches tall....
1 - 600watt HPS will flower them nicely... if grown properly you should get 1-4 ounes per plant

You could also grow 16 plants very nicely in a perfect 4X4 square..
