alright heres my log of my first growth...my set up is as pictured really....a small fan....2 13 watt cfl's....

my second post will be 1 week growth and the third post will be of now....the end of week 2.....i decided at the end of each week ill post up pics of it....

the pics i have are of what light bulb's i use.....what my setup looks like "hidin" so i dont get caught lol...and what it actually looks like inside...

Looking good so far. What are your plans for down the road? Do you plan to go through till harvest in the box or will you be tossing that girl outside? from the looks of things unless I missed it, but it looks like it's just one plant? Do you know the strain? If you plan on harvesting in there, you should look into doing a mini scrog, or grow that baby out some more and take a bunch of cutting and do a sog. Either way, good luck and don't let anyone throw that box out!:thumbsup:

lol thanks for the complements...im only 16 so i dont want to get caught by my parents so im just tryin to learn and expierment for right now...tryin to get the hang of it...then when i move out....grow a huge garden lol ...im not sure what strain it is though...i bought some KB and the seed(yes it is only 1 plant by the way) that was in it looked good enough to plant so i did just to see if it would work...it took a while but outta nowhere it grew like 2 inches in one night lol....idk....the whole thing with harvesting and stuff im still lookin into...i dont get what to do...like what to pick off....because i want to keep the plant....but just keep it short.....

hello there.. nice to see your taking a interest in growing but doing it in the parents house aint such a hot idea... considering theyll be the one to take the punishment if for any reason some were to go down..

as far has taking that plant to flowering your gunnna have to LST train it or SCRoG or even SOG it .. which you should do a forum search and get a idea of what is going on.

and for "what to pick off" after you change your light cycle from 18/6 or 24/0 (whatever you have it on) to 12/12 you will notice preflowers growing afetr a few weeks and hopefully will be female. (do another search on identifying Males and Female flowers)


also prolly wanna get a little more light in there ;/

it isnt that hard to do a hidden grow at a young age from your parents, i am sixteen and my plants are doing lovely, i have done many concealed grows indoors LOL, and it is that bad of a thing to do, if you get caught then you will get a warning from the police, nothing any worse than that, and then make sure you DONT EVER GET CAUGHT AGAIN OTHERWISE BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN(like jail) and don't slate him for growing without his parents consent.

good luck man keep us updated, when the plant gets bigger i think you will need more lights.

chaos, can I recommend something to you while you are still in the early stages? If you care to take some helpful advice. Try as best as you can to get your lights as close to your plants as humanly possible without burning them. What I mean by that is get your lights so they are withing 3-4 inches of the top of your plant. Now hold your hand in front of your plant and if you can keep it there for a minute, your golden. Then just move them accordingly. Also, I would pinch your stem, maybe for 2-3 weeks until it thickens up a bit. But while you are doing that, try and do some LST(low stress training) with that baby as well. Look around the house for some colored paperclips, or some string. What you are going to want to try and do is lay the plant onto the soil pretty much. Then as it matures it will reach for the light. But the whole purpose of LST is to keep your plant as low as possible and as it gets older it will throw out more branches at you in which you will have to LST as well. If you have any questions at all, we are all here to help. And I don't believe one should harp on you for growing in your parents house, i for one did it for 4 years(but outdoors) But if they find it and ask you about it, don't beat around the bush. And good luck with your grow, aside from a little bit of stretching, it looks really good!

awesome thanks much guys....what do u mean "pinch"? like actually pinch it or what lol? the lights right now are about 1 inch away from the plant(i wish i wouldnt known that sooner though...o well...now this LST what exactly do i do...i dont want to hurt the plant or anything.......i want to learn as much as possible about growing...im really getting into it

Easiest way I found to do LST was to take some paper clips, some string and some tape. Open up the paper clip so that you can get it around the stem and then close it. Tie the string to the paper clip and then slowly and gently lay your plant onto the soil or until you feel it getting really flimsy. I went a little bit each day, because as you bend the stem, it heals into that possition and makes it a little bit harder to move as the plant gets older. And with pinching, yes I mean just pinch the stem, not to the point where it is paper thin, but enough that you squeeze it together. This same method relates to your own body muscles, as you work out, you pinch and tear your muscles(that's what makes them get bigger) because as the heal themselves they will actually grow bigger to better protect yourself. so give your stem a little pinch first, then take your paper clip or some sort of weighted object and tie down your plant so that it is as low as possible. Later on if you would like I can show you step by step instructions and the tool needed to top your plant, which will in the end give you a much shorter plant.

i like what you are doing...i tried to grow when i was like 14 and my dad found out..oh well...
from what i understand: i hate to tell you, but i dont think much is going to happen with what you have now. the plant will get too tall, it will smell up the whole house, and you are more than likely going to get busted. for safty reasons, dont say shit to anyone, no friends, dont tell people you dont know, be fucking safe.
now, fuck the kb, yes its good shit but for what you are doing it doesnt seem like the best thing. heres what i would do if i were you: get a money order and buy some lowryder seeds, they stay like a foot tall, and can yeild fairly decent. it might not be the best smoke but from what it looks like you could fit about 4 plants in there. buy like 2 100w cfl, 3 from wally world are like $10.

remember the key points. safty, tell no one, lowryder, 100w cfl!!! good luck and keep us posted dawg.

its 13 watts of electricity 60 watts of light.....i want to get 2 125w cfl's.....ehh im going to wait this out....see how everything goes...if the smell gets bad then ill put her somewhere else....its a folded box....and if i need ill put air fresheners on the OUTSIDE of the closet......im just hopin its a girl....

also time to do some lst.....im going to put somethen straight right next to it and tie it to it....

but anyways, try to get 2-4 42w (power consumption not total wattage) cfl's, u dont have room to grow a plant in there (root wise) u need atleast a 1-3 gallon pot for a good grow, also try to get computer fans for exhaust, u should honestly wait or grow outside.... away from home.

if u got 50$ to dish out, order some lowrider seeds from www.drchronic.com or www.seedboutique.com. they grow from 12 - 18 inches tall, and only take 8 weeks to grow from seed to harvest. it's an auto flowering strain, so it skips the vegetative stage and goes straight to flowering. after 17 days you'll see the sex, males show 1-4 days before a female will, so try and get some lowryder.

alright...well i just transplanted into a way bigger pot with 4 small holes in the bottom....i also added another 13 watt cfl....so im up to 4....the plant like most of u know isnt doing to good....hopefully this'll help...right now shes in the dark and shes stayin that way for the rest of the night tomorrow ill kick back on the light....

chaos im not being a bully or trying to be condesending mate but look at some point they r gonna be to big to fit int hat little box then u will have to add a fan then u will have to change the box again at flowering...pluss that space udnert hem cothes closed in a cardbox box is a fire hazard...u may come home one day and find half your bedroom burnt off
