lol... Their is a big differnce in males and females. IF your talking about bud you buy, then good bud has alot of hairs, and not alot of leaves. If your getting alot of leaves then get a new dealer cos hes ripping you.

Chaos, I think you're looking at plants in two different stages. First the plant grows under 18 (or more) hours of light per day, and it just grows tall with lots of leaves, branches etc. This is called the vegetative stage. Then, when you cut back to 12 hours of light per day, it starts growing buds. This is the flowering stage.

have you even smoked weed before? do you realize that plants take 3-4 months to grow completely? do you realize that you will NOT get any bud from this?

You need aleast 10 to get any bud from the plant. If your using one, then pothead IS right, it wont grow anything.

Failing that, throw it all away now and wait untill you get your own place.

u can take the money u spent on 10 cfl lights and maybe a tad bit more, go on ebay and for around 120.00 you can do what i just did 2 hours ago. i bought a 250 hps light that plugs directly into the wall outlet.....i have a feeling newbs tend to stay away from anything but flouros because they think any other grow lights are complicated and need more than a simple wall outlet. also on top of that, for 50.00 i found a 6 plant hyrdroponic system that comes with ferts and all (i was to lazy to build my own). so there you go 170.00 later i allready got the "meat and potatos" of my grow setup.
