Hi everyone. I'm new here from Oklahoma. I'm wondering how I would get rid of the smoke after smoking in my apartment. Is there any way, such as a mask, that I could exhale through that would distill the smoke & smell? I don't mind it actually, but the other people in the apartment do. Any suggestions? I have heard of some sort of exhalation device before but I'm not sure where I heard it from. Thanks for any replies. :)

Whoa! That's cool, but way out of my budget. $600 is a little more than I can afford to spend right now. Maybe there is something cheaper? Like a makeshift thing I could exhale my smoke into or something. I know I've heard of people doing that, if I could only remember how it was done.

Why Not try something called a smokelless asthray(if you smoke bumts or reefers)It sucks the smoke in some have covers over that do the same.......it would cut down but not get rid of the smoke
Hope it helps..........
Or you could bow you smoke into a balloon and let it out the window.....or a plastic bag i suppose lol not realy pratical but might work
Open a window and have a fan blowing it. Spray some cologne or something.
The bowl I have doesn't leave a bad weed smell for a long period of time.

use oust, neutra air, or febreeze. get an ionic breeze air purifier from the sharper image.
or you can just open a window and stand by that and blow the smoke out. i have smoked countless bowls in my room and a bit of lysol was all taht was needed to get the smell away after a window smoking session.

I was just showing you one thing. You can get normal window fans with filters in them so that it blows the smell out of your house but traos the smell so no one outside smells it. You could just get a normal window fan if you don't have nosy neighbors.
apparently you can get a toilet roll....stick a couple of those bounce things that you put in tumble dryers in it and blow the smoke through that....it's supposed to get rid of the smell of smoke....
I dont know this through experience....but I have heard it quite a few times here...
hope this helps

ok one empty toilet paper tube. 6 dryer sheets and a rubber band or tape.
take a dryer sheet and fold it to a square. then tape (sometimes tape won't stick, hence the rubber band) to secure all the edges. stuff the rest of the dryer sheets inside after you have opened them up and "crinkled" them.
you can test with a friend. blow smoke out (cig, or herbal) and they shouldn't be able to smell it. If they can and the herb is that good,...then get a papertowel tube, repeat with more dryer sheets inside and an extra on the end.
I used this many, many times in Seattle.
Happy toking,

yea you can take a toilet paper roll, bend up one end of it, and stuff a couple of dryer sheets into the tube. then exhale through the tube. it really works i've smoked a bowl in a small room and the other people in the room couldn't even smell it. they were like on the other side of the room and couldn't see me because of a desk and drawer thing, but i was impressed at the effectiveness. by the end of the bowl they could smell it a little, but it wasn't noticeable. burn some incense or just get a fan blowing, just moving the air around in the room will help reduce the smell.

many people who want to control the odor of their plants growing have already come up with some really cool and inexpensive ways to control odor. Go look at the growing forums for odor control and the same techniques should be able to be applied to the smell from smoking not just growing.
BY far the easiest way to stop some of the smell is to light a candle right next to the joint/smoke, and let the smoke go into the flame. It will get rid of it... the fire kinda eats the smoke. They use this at alot of restuarants... Alot of people think its because its romantic but its actually so if you have a cig the smoke doesnt annoy the other people. If you look around you can find out how to make a carbon scrubber, fairly cheaply. I personaly love and i mean love the smell of skunk in my house, but hey, we cant always have what we want.
Welcome to the boards.
you really should have seen it coming, the only way you get stuck with that smoke smell is if you smoked in there many times and never opened the window. once it is stained in the room the only way to really get it out is leave as many windows open as possible and have many many fans going and it will still take awhile

Hey man.... i smoke all the time in my apartment and the only time you can ACTUALLY smell it is as the smoke is still hanging in the air.
Febreeze works wonders.
Never smoke in any more than one room, make sure the A/C is not on, open a window, and get a vaporizer.
That thing cuts down on the smoke like crazy.
in fact, if you turn it down low enough, there's no smoke at all.
The paper towel tube actually seems like it might work in theory also.
Here's another idea. Get a box of the best odor absorbing dryer sheets you can buy, stuff a 20 oz coke bottle full, cut a hole in the bottom, BAM, it lasts for a long time plus its pretty inconspicuous. When the dryer sheets stop absorbing, get a new bottle. Also, pillows and mattresses and sheets absorb smell very easily. Avoid these things.

window fan= $25 from walmart+putting it in backwards, and blowing the smoke out it=almost no smell, as compared to a reaking apartment.

Yeah , use a cardboard tube from a roll of paper towels, jam some bounce sheets in there, find a perch near a window , exhale in the tube hold the doobie or bong out the window light some incense and chill.

I'm pro at smoking without a trace. Yesterday I smoked in my room with both of my parents awake downstairs watching TV.
If you have 2 windows in a room that is the best smoking room because if you leave them cracked while smoking most of the smoke will float out of the window. When you finish smoking open the windows and turn on a fan.
While smoking blow the smoke into a paper towel tube filled with dryer sheets.
When your done smoking take axe and give 5 good sprays. Then get Febreeze and spray any carpet or fabric that smells.
If you let it air out the smell mwill be gone in like 20 minutes. I do this with my parents in the next room over and have never gotten caught in the act.

that sounds like a good idea, but don't be so sure that your parents don't know what you're doing. I thought I was getting away with smoking in my house without my mom noticing, then one day she just said to stop smoking pot down there. They might be playing dumb, but who cares I guess.
As for getting the smell out of your apt, candles and that fan facing out the window sound like good ideas. I think that if you overdue it on the incence and axe it draws more attention than if you used nothing. Try to not overdue it.
