Kinda the lazy fishermans way to catch them...

Yeah, it's more of the hobby side of the sport of fishing, kind of like reef aquariums are the hobby side of fish keeping. I do both, and enjoy both.

LOL bass season, you know the best time for big bass can be in the winter! in one winter a few years back i cought 20+ bass over 5 pounds including 5 over 10 pounds! a friend and i both cought 12 pounders in the same spot one at sunrise and one at sunset! talk about some toad bass!

no it cant be, because fish barley move/swim in winter because its so cold and theres not as much food, the best time to fish for bass in right after dawn or just before dusk in the summer on a clear day, unless it's really hot in which case they stay in deep water and don't move much

And I never said more or big, and i also didn't say they don't eat, and summer time is the best time to fish for bass of any size because bass are aggressive fish that attack on instinct, even when not hungry, and because the water is warmer they are more active and find more food and have more energy to chase/eat/want more... winter time is the exact opposite, they only eat when they need to, and they don't move much. Oh and BTW I guarantee I know much more than you do about fish, and fishing.

whether theyâ??re farmed or pulled from the ocean, fish are treated in ways that would warrant felony charges if other animals were so horribly abused

chisme

Indeed, neurobiologists have long recognized that fish have nervous systems that comprehend and respond to pain, and anyone who made it through Biology 101 knows that fish have nerves and brains that sense pain, just like all animals. Indeed, scientists tell us that fish brains and nervous systems closely resemble our own

yes and its also been noted that fish do not have many more nerve ending in the lips where the hook gets caught then your eyelash

chisme
04-08-2006, 12:47 PM
unless your kicking the fish back in the water or extremly handling it u wont cause it much pain.

any good fisherman thats pride in the best care for the fish including after care of stress such as placing it in your feeder and leetting it get back its wits and even feed it a couple maggots for free

Shut up! Euphoric if you dont like fishing dont come to a thread about fishing go start your own thread about not fishing!

Carp might be on ugly bad eating fish, but they sure can fight! i used to catch 20= pound carp on bread balls with 4 pound test, one of them took me an hour to get it in! The greatest thing to me about carp fishing is the fact that i just throw them in the trash once i catch them, all they do is dirty up the lakes and eat the bass eggs during spawn, and i love bass, i always catch and release bass!

*FYI carp are said to be the smartest of all fish!

man like i said, if anybody wanted to ban fishing i would hang them personally myself! wtf i mean if somebody has no food and has to go fishing then what do you do? starve to death from lack of fukn protein since you are probably a damn vegetarian. jesus fished, the romans fished, the egyptians fished, and most important BILL DANCE FISHES! our modern day will fish until the end of earth and ive seen damn fish that have been hooked in the mouth and are just swimming around just fine. if they swallow the hook more than likely yea they are gonna die but you know you should ban fishing because of that, sheesh get a fukn life man!
