Hydroponic garden , I have algea, but cant lite proof. Is there an alternative supplement or nutrient i can add to the water to prevent this..

And how bad is Algea for a plant anyway...?Scale 1 to 10 , 10 being bad 1 being good.

Well one way or the other, if you do now cover you res. with something.....
you will have continuous algea. COVER UP YOUR SHIT PLAYA!! do something figure it out. Also while your figureing things out take all your equipment and wash them well with boiling hot water... then proceed to scrub the shit out of it. Try to add new ph'd and nutirent added water to your res atleast once a week. Maintenance is an important part of any horticulture grow but especially on dro my friend

use hydrogen peroxide for sterilizing. Kills algae immediately and won't harm plants.

use fountec or hth algaecide 30
2 drops per gallon for treatment...1 drop per gallon as regular maintenance...It will stop the algae, not kill, just keep it from spreading.
