I have recently taken a new position with a manufactureer based in little rock arkansas. Prior to taking the position I requested the company handbook. The handbook delivered was outdated and did not include the new random testing policy. I passed the pre employment exam in my home state using subsitiution with my wifes urine. I tried several flush drinks and followed the directions explicitedly I failed everyone of my home tests. I tried 4 times even after consuming several detox drinks. What a waste of money thank god I tested my self proir to the preemployment exam at a labcor facility. During the preemployement test I was given privacy and allowed to shut the bathroom door and easily substiitued my sample.
Once I arrived in Little Rock after moving myself and family from MD I was given a drug testing form to sign from HR including random testing. I have been a heavy daily smoker for 7 years. I smoke very potent strains like shiva and northern lights from the sensi seed bank. I have abstained for 7 days and am still testing positive on a home screen. My only chance is substitution until I clean out. I have tried to ask and determine the company procedure for random testing. I know the testing is done on site 2 times a month, but I cannot determine if the test is supervised. I know employees are called to a confrence room and taken indiviidually to the rest room. Will my future random tests be supervised? Please respond with personal experiences with work place random drug testing procedures.

from my understanding, they are not allowed to watch you for employment testing unless you have been previously suspected of tampering.

I dont think they will. If they do dont say anything at first and pretend to try and pee and then ask for some privacy because you cant pee while people watch lol, if they say no point out how you have already passed 2 and I think your set.

yeah i dont think they will actually watch "from source to destination" as they sometimes refer to it, although i had a friend whom was given a random drug test not for suspicion or anything, that was just procedure. He told me that a clinic employee went onsite, they informed him he was going to have to submit a sample, only had like a 35 minute advance notice and the guy went with him into the bathroom (this bathroom was the several enclosed stalls setup) and the guy was just outside the stall with the stall door closed, but in the bathroom with him nevertheless.
By the way employee positive, how exactly did u pull off the substitution you spoke of?

I pulled the subsitiution off with a 2 ounce shampoo bottle in 2 pairs of tighty whities. The urnine sample I used was given 5 minutes before entering Labcor. I was extremely nervous the sample bottle shifted and I almost lost it the lobby of Labcor. It made for one uncomfortable walk to the exam room. I also had to wait almost 45 minutes. I had the sample squeezed between my thighs to keep the temp in range. I kept the nurse talking to try keep her from noting the test strip. She didnt even seem to check. I was so nervous I didnt check the temp range on the test strip prior to handing the sample over. I was required to check my pockets, and remove my hat, but the nurse seemed indifferent and gave me the impression that rules and procedure were fairly loose when the test was for preemployment. This was also a busy labcor facility with many DOT tests for accidents etc. If I could offer any advise I would say a better method of securing the sample is needed. Perhaps a pocket in your underware. I even saw an add on tv for Ipod underwear with a pouch sown into the underwear.
