Ok well 1st this is a embarassin subject and i know obviously none of u are doctors just looking to see if any1 had a experience or opinion.

Basically a year ago i found a lump of the right of my penis (not in testicles) but more groin area very close to testes, it was like half a BB size, then a pea size now its like a marble. problem is im scared to go doctors i know i shouldnt be but i will be going next week just never get a chance to go in their working hours,

Its grown and is startin to get painful recently it caused me to limp a bit, its not a hernia as i know the sytoms of a hernia and it dont dissapear when i lay down. if anything it gets more obvious.

Recently i been pretty ill with bad stomach pains and when i was ill the lump was hurting a bit which leads me to think it could be linked.

anyone got any ideas or experiences with similiar?

i will go doctors this week i should of left it long i know so please dont flame.

any help is appreciated.

thanks

It may be a swollen lymph node because you have a lot of those in the groin region. Those can get really sore and swollen sometimes meaning you have an infection somewhere. If I've been sick, my lymph nodes in my neck will get sore and inflammed.

But wait, you said that it's been there for a year, so scratch that out. From my experience, the swollen nodes with go away after a week or so... Cysts aren't usually painful..

I don't know man, but make sure you get that checked out. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but good luck! :)

Hydrocele/varicocele

'A soft lump in the scrotum, especially if you can get your fingers between it and the testicle, is most likely to be a hydrocele. This is a collection of sterile fluid in the cord attached to the testicle, which is invariably harmless. Left untreated, a hydrocele can grow to a large size and cause discomfort, so they are usually best drained early.

Varicoceles are similar, except they are caused by enlarged blood vessels. Both may require surgical removal in severe cases.

Neither condition is dangerous except in very rare cases when they become infected or put pressure on blood vessels.'

So it seems that the only bad thing about what you have is that is' quite painful, just get it drained at the docs.

I hope you do go to the doctor and you are ok Robert. What Up in smoke 420 wrote seems to be the most obvious reason.

Please guys take some advice from me.Don't ever put off going to see a doctor it could be nothing but it could also be something. My dad died from prostrate cancer because the lump he left for a year was cancer and it was too late to do anything about it.

I hope you guys check your testicles, you spend enough time on your penis I bet ;) :D
