I recently had to leave on vacation just as my plants were put to flower so I took 2 to 3 clones from each plant and left detailed instructions for my friends that were caring for my plants....I think they fell down on the job and then got nervous and overwatered when they weren't looking good. 6 survived out of 40 and look very strong. My question is...What is the best technique for cloning a flowering plant. Medium, Nutes or not, Humidity, Temp, Product, When and What kinda shoot to look for.
I am currently using Olivia's rooting gel in a soiless seedling mix in 4" ers. Put in a large plastic storage container covered with glass with small side vents. I am using 3 15w flourescent bulbs and also have a 65w compact to use, but was under the impression that not much light is needed in early stages. The bulbs keep the temp at about 78. My instructions were to mist with a 50% dilute vegetative feed 3 times a day for the first 3 days and then once a day after that and to water soil with distilled water as needed when the soil is dry at the top and begins to pull away from the sides. How can I change my technique to have a better success rate, I can't afford many more shoots?....most are already filled with little buds.
Ohhh I am 11 days into flowering!

Come on cloning gods I need some help.....I got some beauties and I can only afford to have good success rate at this point, I've already given up 2 to 3 shoots per plant. The funny thing is that the best looking plants are the 6 successfull clones. I'm even considering building an aeroponic cloning device, but would prefer to use what I got.
