I just finished watching the movie on dvd, and I am absolutely stunned. I thought it was incredible. I'm confused why people were not too keen on it... what is not to love? If this masterpiece is an upset over Brokeback for best film of the year, I definitely need to see Brokeback.

Crash- The best movie I've ever seen

personally I really liked the movie. However, I think the story has to be looked at as a story, as everything is way too conveniently placed.

I really really disliked Crash. Every character was so stereotypical

I too just saw ??Crash,? and now I am numb, emotionally drained and all cried out, well almost. There??s a scene that still gets to me when I think of it even after the fact.
I needed to be entertained and after seeing this particular movie get an Oscar for best picture I thought I would see for myself what all the hoopla was about.
Big mistake, I wasn??t entertained at all and came away from the movie very disappointed in that respect. I mean how entertaining can everyday be? Just another day in LA is what I saw; just another day in California ? in America, is what I saw.
Big mistake, because I was held up to a mirror the entire time, because I saw myself and my neighbor and my mailman.
I came away from this movie feeling ? sullied.

But there is always a glimmer of hope. ??? it was a good cloak.? You??ll need to watch the movie to understand the quote.
I can see why it reaped the awards that it did, but on the whole it was nothing out of the ordinary. I can sum the movie up in three words: Life??s a bitch. Even better, two: Reality sucks.
A very Oscar worthy movie.
Not a movie I want to see again though as I see this stuff on TV every day and down the street and in my newspapers, in the apartment across the way and in our schools ?
Would I recommend this movie?
That would be a resounding ??Yes,? not only rent it but buy it and watch it over and over again lest you forget, how quickly things can change ?
A very powerful movie.
And, "Yes" it was very stereotypical but it called it like it really is.
Just my two cents.;)

I dislike Crash. I got it, everybody is racist and shit is fucked up. I felt that movie to be slightly superficial and it tried to beat the point into my head instead of being sublime. I thought Brokeback was a much better film in both storytelling and message.

Aight, I liked Crash and all, but I kind of saw the ending coming. That thing with the blank in the gun was too easy to spot, but overall it was good. Nothing to write home about, same for Brokeback.
