question about females

if my plant which is pretty average size maybe 16 inches tall and which is about 50 days old if the small buds have hairs growing off of them does that indacte that they are female i will try to get some pics thnx for the info

Are they on a flowering cycle, if so for how long?

im not sure how long this is my first grow it just begun growing rapidly a while ago

Buds with hairs growing off them.... sounds like female to me.

If you are still in the vegetative cycle, then these are called preflowers. It means the plant is ready to begin budding and you can cut the light back to 12/12 to start the flowering cycle.

You should give us some more fact about your plant. Yes, hairs on buds are the signs of a female. Do you want to most bag for your buck. Then what are you feeding it how often, what size is the pot, fresh air? These factor can determine harvest weight or amount smokeable.

Yeah, if you have small white hairs growing out from the internodes then its a female.
