I've been wondering how to divide my closet up into veg and flowering sections. I've posted some pictures. Closet dimensions are 5' x 5' x 8' H with a clothes hanger bar and shelf in the back at 6' H with about 2.5' of clearance above it. Any ideas or better yet, anyone else have some examples?

I was thinking about splitting the closet with a tarp or something. Put a MH light on one side and a HPS on the other. Taking the fluorescents I have now and put them on top shelf already present for cloning and seedlings.
How much space between each shelf in your plan Karmaxul? 2' veg and 2 3' flowering shelves?
Sorry I didn't understand about the mothers.

you can isolate flowering section in the closet and the veg can take the rest. therefore you wont disturb the flowering plants. just make enough space for growth

I'm growing white widow right now. I also have 10 seeds of Ice I'm going to try sometime later. I might be pushing electricity consumption with three HID lights since I do not have to pay for electricity in my apartment. I figure I can get away with 2x400 W though.
With those two strains, how high would I want veg and flower to be including the lights and eventual hydro systems?

Think a multilevel SCROG setup like this would work best:

i would put another cupboard in there like a wardrobe or sommat
and veg in that that way ya can keep the light cycles without disturbing one another just set ya timers so they are on at the same time then you wont disturb a dark cycle :)

do as you thought...run a small wooden frame around 3x5' where you want to split veg/flower rooms...instead of tarp, use panda plastic-back to back white side out.
Add one of those tarp zippers, s you can access veg/clone/shelf area in back from path along end of room.
Use shelf for little clone area with cfl's and veg under shelf.
vegging plants are smaller so you don't need much height.
you can use cfl's or small MH for veg.
You don't need doors veg area, because of the panda plastic room divider. Actually you would only need small MH for veg and clones if you did this.
hope this helps.

first off you need to line the back side of the main doors to the closet . them kind of doors suck for a grow closet , to much humidity makes them swell wont want to work smooth, hard to keep light from getting out , way to many cracks...lol..im just talking shit cause I had the same ...lol I ripped them down before I bought a light, made the door way smaller and put a normal door on ....wish you luck
