Hello... I just joined, and wanted to say hi to everyone... I'm 24, a wife, mother and full time college student. I have Fibromyalgia, and use marijuana medicinally, even though that's not reccognised by my city/state but we will be moving to Denver once the husband and I graduate. My daughter is 4 years old, and will be starting pre-school this year. We will have her in public pre-school and kindergarden, but after that we plan to homeschool her. I have not always used MJ medicinally, I started smoking when I was 13, recreationally, but I didn't use regularly until I got sick. Umm.. I don't really know what else to say, so if you have questions, feel free to ask...

Hi and welcome :)

What is Fibromyalgia and how does cannabis help with it? I'm also wondering how you plan to deal with the whole drug issue while raising your daughter. Do you feel you have to hide it from her right now? We had a pretty interesting thread discussion going on here for a while about parents bringing their children into headshops, I think the majority of people seemed pretty uneasy about that idea. It must be a difficult issue for you with a child so young.

Does that have anything to do with your reason for homeschooling her?

I believe fibromyalgia is a degenerative muscle disease. My grandmother has it and i think it runs in our family. I tend to ache more than normal and i thought it might be because i play a lot of guitar and whatnot. But its an allover body ache that comes and goes. Somedays its really bad and others its mild. Some days i dont ache at all.
I really feel i may be the third generation with this, im not sure. My grandmother takes meds for it, but she probably wouldnt be too keen on trying mj for it. what are the symptoms waterlilly?
