Wick systems grow plants very efficiently. You see very rapid growth when plants are transplanted into them. Cut a 2 Liter bottle in half, put some cloth or rope through the cap end and use it as a pot. Fill the bottom half partly with water and put the top into it. The cloth draws water upward when ever the plant needs it.

Frosty looking good. two questions. i see your fan blowing new air in but wheres the one going out? and num 2. you dont move your lights closer? cfls are not that powerfull and i thought they had to close to the plant to get the most out of them.

I couldn't find an appropriate fan for out, but I do have a vent for the incoming air to go out of. And as for the CFL's, they have been working very well where they are so i havn't had any need to move them. But I am thinking of adding one more on the bottom of the box to give the undergrowth more light. I take them outside when the weather is nice enough to get some real sun light.

Today, April 5, they are about 50 days old. I repotted them. Using organics now, with Alaska Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1, blood & bone meal. Moved 6 outside because there wasnt enough space in the box.

Got a few drooping and yellowing leaves since the nute switch. Hopfully it will work itself out with a little fine tuning.

Tied them down and topped em so lower growth would get more light and they would get very bushy.

I HATE spider mites. They've ruined a grow or two for me befor. But I'll be ready this time. Gonna spray them with some pyrithrines (sp?)

what are major things to look for in pest problems ?
i've read yellowing leaves but that could be nute problem and other reasons .
do u kno of some sure fire ways to tell if pests especially mites have infested your cabinet grow ?
mine is around same size as yours, less plants, CFL grow, newbie grower and only about month into it

hey weed man when did u start your dresser grow i got one using CFL's too not as much watts tho
i would lyk 2 c how much more yield u bring in due to your higher wattage and compare growth then i would have a better way to tell how much i need for best results
