Hey all ... im new to growing my crop. First crop going pretty neatly apart from a bit of singeing on one of the plants. My set ups in my bathroom attached to my drum kit lol. Not hydro just plain growing in canna coco medium. Seem to be growing pretty well so far and i'm having lots of fun growing them. It's northern lights so shud be a nice crop. Cant wait to taste some of my own. Any advice on my set up would be cool ... trying to keep it simple though. Been growing larger plant for about 3 weeks now. Just wondered how long on average does a plant take to grow from seed to harvest and smoke? Gna be doing a journal of my crop to so keep checking back and ull see my beauties grow. I feel like a proud parent lol.

Regards All

Bob

What is canna coco medium and where do you get it? Is it a mix that youve made yourself? Im about to get started and havent heard of that. Are you waiting to use ferts or does the medium have that for you?

I got the canna coco medium from my local hydroponics shop. I was told it is the best as its completely natural and low ph. Hasn't caused me any problems so far. I'm not introducing fertiliser for two reasons, one there are so many fertilisers out there that i wouldnt know what one to use, and secondly when introducing fertilisers i have researched and found that you have to be careful of acidity levels and also may have to introduce nutrients etc which costs more and means more things can go wrong. This is my first crop sim trying to keep it simple, give it light water and something to grow in. Gna get more complicated once i know more and know i can grow it decently.

Lol... Its looking alright for a first grow. Make sure it does stretch anymore tho. If you think fertalizers are difficult to understand never go into hydro lol... I prefer soil anyway.... its how the plant was meant to be grown.

It's not that i don't understand fertilisers more that everyone i have spoken to has told me to use a different one and so i don't trust them cos so many problems stem from over use of fertilisers or misuse of fertilisers. I'll wait for a better understanding before i go into hydro. Do my research. What do u mean about don't let them stretch anymore ? do u mean in height ? and how do i stop them from stretching ?
