Heres some pics of my set-up for next week.
2 trays, 2 flouro lights,80 seeds(AK47/Lowryder, Unknown AF, Guerilla Gold, GG(egXmm), Early wonder skunk, Masterlow, and Blueberr/ML/ML).
18hours/6hours rest(5a.m-11p.m). I'll take seedling outside during the warm days. This way they dont sun burn.
This year I'm using 7 different auto flower strains. I wasnt to impressed with last years grow. This year will be alot more fun.

I tried Early sativa, but Marc Emery's seed company sent a different strain and that didnt work out right.
I wanted to breed Early wonder skunk for more seeds this year. This ones has a kick ass high.

You can make mothers out of autoflowering strains under 24 hour light. Ruderalus which is the Russian hemp strain crossed in to make them non photosensitive will flower under 18/6.

That light looks a bit purple, do you know the Kelvin it runs at?

I'll try that some day. I'm not sure why the light turns purple. I run two 15 watt lights to extend day light and evening hours for 80 seedlings, I'll do this for a month.Last year I used a different light during veg and my plant stretched. So hopefully I wont have a problem this year.
The weather here in Canada can be harsh so I bring in baby plants in for the night tell they can handle the weather, plus my plant will be big enough when its timefor the outdoors(Early May). Thanx for the advice

They will be green with all that blue light as blue builds cloroplasts, yellow converts them into food so they may grow a bit slower but should be more compact and healthy. I was just wondering the spectrum. It looks a bit like a aquarium bulb

That sounds really high. Very few strains produce 5 elbows a pop. A more conservative est. would be an elbow a pop, maybe as low as an half an elbow a pop.

Thats with 22 gallon + containers, good nutes, and sun. Not to mention a decent veg prior of a couple months indoors.

They will be 7 feet = wide and 7 + feet tall. Look like a big ball. Base of the stem can get to the size of your calf

I dont think my auto flower strains will reach that height. I'm using 3 & 5 gallon pales for my grow. I dig pale size holes next to a swamp, so This way I dont need to water my plants all the time. If the swamp tries to flood I could move my plants else where.
I'll try for 3 pounds from 80 auto flower seeds, Watch me.

ive never heard of anybody getting more than a pound an a half off an autoflowering strain. i think 3 pounds off a mighty might mother that was vegged for 4-5 months. aim for between a half and a whole pound per plant. i believe greenz said you wont get more than half a pound off GG and i know u wont off the lowryder. but sounds like an awesome grow bro. u should end up with 10-20 pounds and an early harvest. have fun

lol yeah i was really stoned and didnt read that right. i think you should easily get 4-5 pounds. im growing purple pineberry wich is an autoflower and can yeild a pound per plant. it finishes late august to mid september. also got some early gold wich can yeild up to a half pound and finishes early to mid august. i want to get some timewarp cuts(im not sure were to get seeds for it). they can yeild up to a pound and a half and finish the same as the pineberry but with slightly better smoke.

i love autoflowering plants they give u an edge over all the things like bad weather, rippers/pigs.

Not even ruderalus will flower under 24 hour light. They only way to get a auto flowering strain is to cross it with ruderalus.

I dont want to use to much electrical enery to start my babies indoors. I'd rather use the spring & summer sun for light and a much bigger yeild.
I believe the master low, blueberry/ML/ML, and the unknown auto flower strain will be finished in mid july. The others finish a month or 2 later.

I also have a buddy willing to let me use his shed for a Columbia gold grow(The blond lady). I'm into this ol' school strain. I grew it once and it almost out grew my grow room. I would like to breed a Col.gold female with a lowryder male. Then breed it back to a lowryder and see what we get. I'll call it Pablo Escobar,LOL.

Some auto flower strains will take alittle while. Lowryder will start budding When it grows its first set of true leaves. I just start all my seedlings under 18/6 hrs light, so this way they can get alittle bit of rest.

Why the hell does Mdanzig crack his seeds before shipping out to his customers?
All the other seeds popped out on the 2-4 day of germinating except Master low. I started placing my babies outdoors during the warm days so they can handle the intense sun light. Your plants will stay short with huge first true fan leafs if you try this method.

April fools day. Heres a pic of Early wonder skunk roots, a bunch of healthy Guerilaa golds, and lots of nice seedlings.
No master Low seeds yet. I wonder why my ML seeds were pre-cracked?

I must of planted some master low seeds with Blueberry/ML/ML because there was a few 2 headed seedlings. I looked closer and sure enough, 2 seedling growing next to each other. I knew it was Master low beause I ran out of jiffy pellets, so I had to plant the seeds a day later.
Not a wise idea to smoke before planting seeds. Other then that Master low is still having problems hatching.

Heres some pics of my plants from last years grow. I had to finish these girls in a shed due to frost(oct1). I ordered my seeds through Marc Emery direct. I wanted early sativa but these plants looked alot different from the pictures, Looks more like a Indica strain.

I was right, I planted master low seeds with the blueberry/ML/ML....LOL.
I transplanted the Master Low seedling in their own jiffy. I knew they were master low seedlings beacause I planted them a day later. It took about a week for master low to pop out. I'll transplant the bigger seedlings tomorrow.

I bought another flouro grow light today from canadian tire. I now have 3 grow tubes, 3 boxes with a total of 81 seedlings at day 12 of vegging.
The 2 smaller boxes have their own 15watt flouro light, and the bigger box holds 31 seedlings with a 33 watt grow light. That a total of 63 watts plus the timer. Not bad.

I found a dead deer when I was lookin' for a new grow spot. Would the deer skull keep other deer and other wild life away?

I was thinking of leaving my plants outdoors with clear plastic wrapped tightly around the boxes so they dont freeze. Would May 1st be a good idea for central Canada?

One of my Ak-47 Lowryders started to bud already. I'll use this one for breeding. Plants had to stay in for a couple days due to windy weather. Heres an update of my chronic babies(random shots).

I found alot of males and females today. Thats a good thing because less plants mean less heat. Alot of males will die tommorrow. My AK-47/Lowryder started budding first. I'm suprised how fast these plants grow.
A few plants for some reason started showing sex outdoors rather then indoors(light is still 18/6. Indoor to outdoor and back indoor).
Why is this?

it my be the lowryder in them the are about a month old right? if they are lowryder dominant then they will flower fast idk the expected flower times for those mixes but this would be my theory.

It can be the lowryder dominant in theses strains making them bud. I'm guessing when they were growing indoor and moved outdoors to the more intense light they switched to budding. Lighting is still18/6. Well I guess I'm having a Early harvest.
Can you use Earth worms in our grow pots?

earthworms will die if you leave them in your pots. have tried w/22 gallon pot and they lasted about a week and died. better to just use the castings in pot soil mix and to make tea to water.

get some bat guano, bone meal, blood meal, all those are good plus the castings. castings are really good but id try to add some guano or buy a couple bags of soil that have all thatshit already mixed in. you can get it at a decent nursery it will say something like castings, kelp, blood meal, bone meal, shit of some sort that typeof thing. use the mix you were planning on and just spread this stuff on top like an inch or to every couple weeks.

I tested a masterLow male and a hermie outdoors without using a cold frame. The male seems to enjoy the cold nights a warm days outdoors. No signs of frost damage yet.

My plants stayed in a cold frame last night.This morning the temp reached to 30'c and through out the day. Some plants rosted in side, whata kick in the ass. I hear you Trivium, I'm planning on breeding a male Early wonder skunk with a female E.W.S for more seeds, and a Master low female. My Ak-47/Lowryders will be breed for more seeds as well. All hermies and males are dead and collected pollen from males will be stored away for future breeding.

Heres an up date. A Blueberry/MasterLow/MasterLow, AK47/Lowryder, and a Guerilla gold strain. The GG strain is coming along very nice. This strain should yield about 2-4oz.
I also Have this 100% unknown Auto flower strain I bought from a friend awhile back. This would be a great strain to cross with your Lemon Hash Plant.

You can also build a cold frame for your plants. Just make sure the plant dont roast inside during warm days. That was my big mistake.

Edit: I'm currently using spruce boughs to conceal and keep my plants warm, kept them alive so far but im not sure if they will cut it for the really cold nights. What is the best/cheapest way to make a cold frame?

Update time. Heres a beautiful AK47/Lowryder.This one should be ready within a month or so. Heres a Early wonder skunk female.This plant will be bred with a EWS male for more seeds. Another pic of a Unknown auto flower strain, and a Blueberry/ML/ML.
I also pollenated 2 of my best MaterLow females with a male EWS. This should bring the yield up in the masterlow strain.

I'll be using the unknown AF male to pollenate your LHP female so the seeds are more likely to flower earlier. Might need to inbred them so their stable.

the best way to mail seeds would be taking a piece of that weird corrugated material (that teacher put on bulletin boards) and putting the seeds between the corrugation. then stick the whole deal in one of those letter sized envolopes with the bubble wrap in them. easy and cheap!

I havent been around in awhile, things are gonna be just fine for now on...LOL. Anyways my plants are still growing. Lost a few, smoked a few. I'm planning on breeding all the smaller auto flower strains with a E.W.S male and a Guerilla gold male. I think the yield will be better with a much bigger auto flower plant.

Sorry to hear about your loss. What goes around comes around. My auto flower strains finish in late Aug- early sept. I yield about 2oz dried from 1 E.W.S plant. I'm hoping my Guerilla gold strain grows well. This is my first time growing this strain. I'll post pics later.

I also made my own steer poo-tea-tang juice for foliar feeding. I used a cup of poo in a clean sock. I let the poop sit for a few hours before adding sugar. I made sure the sugar was well dissolved before adding to the spray bottle. Lots of left overs so I throw it away.
Does Once a week sound good for foliar feeding?

thats one good natural and free fertilizer. another is pee. you can drink about 2L of water over about 10 minutes. your first load of pee will be yellow, too strong for the plant. the next piss should be almost clear, thats the stuff! good source of nitrates for veg. then u just piss at the base of ur plants. its easy, free, and you don't gotta handle anythin dirty (like shit)

Thats what I heard as well. Some auto flower strains lack in THC production while Some auto flower strains are very potent but lack in yield. My Early wonder skunk strain is not really a auto flower strain but a really early producer. I thought Masterlow would be a strong high, but turn out to be a strong body stone.
This is a Early wonder skunk grown in a 5 gallon pail. Masterlow will bring the yield down abit but will produce buds much more ealier. I'm trying to creating a large yielding auto flower strain that will give Lowryder a Go for its size and potency. I would like to making a stable EWS/Materlow cross before send out to the public, and I'll also have pure Early wonder skunk seeds at the end on AUG

I wanted to show a few pics on how to pollinate a female plant.
I'm using a female Early wonder skunk plant. I'll be dusting her with pollen from a EWS male.(F-2's I'm using) I made sure I picked the best father for the project.
Use a fine paint brush. I like to use a fine model paint brush. Dip your brush in your male pollen you collected and apply on pistol hairs. You can apply again in a couple days to make sure she's well pollinated. Make sure your dusted female grows well away from your unpollinated females. I'll also be dustin' a Guerilla Gold(earlygold/mightymite)female in a week.

from my babys that i grew last season i got roughly just over a pound per plant, one plant i got 680 grams dried and cured, and i had 42 in total, some didnt bud till late in the season and they didn't have time to finnish but all in all it was a great year :cool:

i did start it indoors for around a month, the strain is something like swiss miss, i had ordered seeds from a seed company called buydutchseeds.com, they grew pretty good, in the discription of the seeds when i bought them it said over a pound per plant, that is why i bought that kind of seed, and they sure did get over a pound per plant, it was a great grow.

I realize it's a little late, but to answer your question, yes, you can take clones from a flowering female, but they will take about a month to revert back to vegetative growth and start growing new foliage. Your best bet is to either clip your clones early on in the cycle or to simply avoid taking clones from a flowering female. I'm not sure, but it could also stress the female as well, which would probably prolong the flowering process.

If I should feed I was thinking of using Miracle-Gro 15-30-15 for the first part of feeding, then switch to a more organic feed for flowering.

I tried Early sativa, but Marc Emery's seed company sent a different strain and that didnt work out right.
I wanted to breed Early wonder skunk for more seeds this year. This ones has a kick ass high.

Hey, just thought I'd answer the potency question, I grew lowryder and it's decent smoke, better than most things I've bought. I wouldn't grow it again because it's kind of a waste of my time but I'm picky and I like sativas. Although, since Lowryder 2 is crossed with a columbian sativa (santa marta) I'm getting 10 seeds to check it out.

I got a question for ya, I got a few heavily seeded little red ryder hood females and i was curious how long to get the best quality seeds should I harvest early or let em go extra long. They still got about 2-3 weeks left and the seeds are already bursting from the buds
