how do you make hash

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how do you make hash i have asked my mates and they dont know. also were i come from we get this resin its cheap and not as nice as bud but it gets you stoned i was wondering how you make this aswell by the wasy i am from england....:p

On that note, there's a lot of threads on here on how to make hash. If you're growing, you'll have open resources but if you're buying, it's going to be a somewhat costly endeavor.

Anyways, I have no idea what the answer is to your resin question. To me, resin is the tarry stuff I scrape out of my bowls. Maybe what you're asking for is hash oil, or something like that.

All in all, my advice to you is: get someone smarter to help you.

take dried stuff grind it up , put it in a jar pour in everclear just to cover scraps , shake it like a min. hard . pour through a paper coffie filter on to a plate.... let sit or if your in a hurry, let a hair drier or fan blow on it to mke the everclear evap. faster.....after ..scrape what is left on the plate ....you have hash....lol...HEY ....NO smoking around the everclear...might go BOOM

Hash is made by physically seperating the resin (trichomes) from the other plant material through some sort of screening process (kif boxes, bubble bags, etc.), and then pressing the resin together.

Hash is more common in Europe than in America, where it is often refered to as solid, resin, and in the case of cheap adulterated product, soapbar.

Blender

Unlike the previous methods which use screens to filter the trichomes, the blender method uses the principle that the resin glands are heavier than water, while other plant material is not.
The blender method uses water, ice and agitation to dislodge the trichomes. Ice-water makes the trichomes brittle, causing the resin glands to solidify and become easy to snap off. The glands are heavier than water so they sink to the bottom when separated, while the plant material floats.

To make hash this way you'll need a blender, ice cubes, a reusable metal coffee filter or silk screening, a large glass jar and paper coffee filters.

Fill the blender about half-way with skuff, then cover with cold water and add a tray of ice cubes. Blend for 45 seconds to a minute â?? the mixture will become green and frothy, like a smoothie. Pour this mix through the metal coffee filter into your glass jar. Run more water through the filter to make sure you haven't missed any trichomes.

Once your jar is full, put it in the fridge to settle for a minimum of 30 minutes. You 0should be able to see a white or blonde coloured substance settling on the bottom of your container â?? those are the trichomes. Carefully, so you do not disturb the trichomes, pour off or siphon off about two-thirds of the green water.

If you have more skuff to process, do it now and filter into the container you just drained. Return to the fridge, allow to settle and siphon again. When you have processed all your skuff, add a few ice cubes to the container and let settle one last time.

If you want to increase the purity of your product you can carefully put this settled mixture back into the blender for a final mix and separation. This may or may not be necessary depending on your preference.

Pour the final mix of water and trichomes through a paper coffee filter. The water will pass through the paper but the glands will not. Drain well and allow to dry. You now have dried resin glands ready to be pressed into hPressing

The previous four techniques leave you with a product that, once dried, resembles sand. This "sand" is actually a collection of trichome heads and stalks. In Holland, these heads are referred to as "pollen" or "polm," which can create confusion as the trichomes are clearly not a "pollen" as defined by the english use of the word. Because it is a powder and a potent cannabis extract, this raw product is also sometimes jokingly referred to as "hippy crack."

The final step to making hash is to turn this powder into a solid mass. This can be as simple as rubbing small quantities between your hands to produce a ball of resin, as our ancestors did thousands of years ago. (Unlike our ancient ancestors, you should wash your hands first!)

Another way is to press this powder into a bar or cake. The powder should be completely dry before pressing. If it stored damp it can become moldy, ruining your precious product. So be sure it is totally dry! If you put it into the freezer for a while the water inside will coagulate on the surface as ice and can then be blotted off.

To press you'll need heavy plastic wrap, cardboard, newspaper, a frying pan, a heavy rolling pin and a tile or marble surface for rolling.

Cut the cardboard to the size you would like your finished bar to be. Make a bag around the cardboard, then remove cardboard. Fill the bag with dry trichomes, seal and wrap in several layers of wet newspaper. Place bundle in frying pan on very low setting. Turn your bar often and unwrap to check if all the trichomes are melted. Don't let the newspapers dry out or catch on fire!

Once melted, remove from frying pan, leave wrapped in newspaper, and transfer to the rolling surface. Using the rolling pin, press and roll from the center out. Continue doing this all the way around your bar for 30 to 45 minutes.

Unwrap newspaper and allow to cool in freezer for at least one hour. Then unwrap from your plastic. You now have some awesome hash!

Mobay you are a genius. Nice post man. You can also make tricombs stick together with clear tequilia and press it more easier. It will stay compacted for ever. Will never dry out so be carefull how much you use. I would mist it on in a fine spray.

Scissor hash is nice. The stuff that gathers on the scissors when manicuring. I just left it for 3 weeks to 'cure'.

I also just made a small batch of oil out of my homegrown tonight. Oil is the strongest cannabis product I've ever had before. I haven't smoked it in years. I'm yet to try this batch myself, but I gave some to a friend who hasn't seen, heard of or had it before. The mix was made so that one small cone was the equivelant of about 1/3 of a gram. He doesn't smoke much so it blew him away. :)
Some stuck to me by accident so I licked it off. Within 20 mins I was really feeling it.
You have to be careful with some strains when you make it. Don't use the ones that already give you a bitey, throaty, snuffy hit. Otherwise your lungs will spasm as soon as the oil smoke hits them.
The taste is also good. It's just like your strain was 5 times as potent. (Potency depends on how much oil you use)
Using the butane method is quick, extremely easy and you can do it with as little as a gram. If you only do small amounts, the risk of injury from explosion would be minimal. I do it while holding my breath and then get straight out of the area.
Give it a try Buk! I can fill you in more on my exact method if you like.

Disclaimer:- I'm not sure how safe and clean the end product is. Also these statements are just my personal views. Methods like Mobays are probably a lot better and with an even stronger/cleaner end product.
