I like good sigs but what pisses me off is the amount of space some people use up with useless sigs like this

I think the sigs should be restricted a bit,it does get a bit tiresome having to scroll down 1/4 of a page to read the next post.

It does but there is no need to take up loads of space.Your own sig is an example that you can say more then one thing without taking up loads of space.

I just think some folk can get carried away and after all it appears everytime you post so I think after around 20 views most people ignore the sigs anyway just seems like a waste of space.

I mean graphical sigs and I wouldnt take up space, usually my sigs have the dimensions of 350 x 19 since I usually use userbars (http://www.userbars.com). I think they are better than any other sig can get lol. Heres one of my userbars though, I wanna use it :p

i agree there is a need for restrictions! i also think that once a post has been mad the signature that was present when the post was made should be save with the post and new signatrues only on new posts! or maybe we should have an option in our user cp that will allow use to choose and have both options!

psychocat I don't even see why you had to use chisme as an example. His sig's not even that big. Cuz literilly all it takes to get to another person's post after chisme's post is just like one more roll of the mouse wheel. Now if i had to keep doing it constantly for ages, then yes i would consider it to be too big. But Chisme's sig is'nt big, he just used big font at the top of his sig. Its like a cm or 2 bigger than Kushover's. Not worth complainin about, i think you should cut chisme some slack because he's not one of the one's with a over sized sig.

The simple truth of the matter is that I was interested in others opinions of what (IMO) is wasted space. Chisme makes it far too easy for me to make an example of (and as I have already pointed out) that doesn't mean he's the only one.
The problem is that Chisme doesn't seem to realise that by posting the comments he does he's still self promoting since he had to place them in his sig himself . Logic !
I find it rude to ignore people and believe only through discussion does anyone learn anything, by avoiding the question I am censoring myself.
