1. Use disel generators in stead of your house electricity, most grow busters can tell if the electricity bill is suspiciously high. You can get silent generators on ebay for cheaper price.
2. Use curtains in stead of any other materials, won't look as suspicious to your neighbour or the grow busters compare if you use dark plastic or paint on you garage window.
3. Grow something with fruty taste like blueberry. If the cops come to your house it won't smell as suspicious if you smell blueberry or other fruty flavour, compare to the smell of plants like ak-47 or skunk.
4. Never use you credit card when you buy lights or anything for you growing room.
5. Never turn your burgler alarm on you don't want any accident. Calls to much attention specaly if it turns on
6. Do not have hot, exhaust air from your grow room pouring outside directly. Police helicopters can see the heat pouring out. The helicopter can not see trough your walls and detect your grow lights.

1 I did not think diesel generator were silent, I know natural gas is but I have never heard of a single person getting busted cuz the electric company complained about making money.

3. dont answer your door for cops, get ozium and plug it in by the front door if you are worried

4 I have got shit on my creidit cards for years and never had a problem. you can not get a warrant off a creidit card statment.

5 True that, cameras are better then alarms if you are worried. I dont even lock my doors when I have hundreds of plants.

6 Thermal imaging warrants are not legal, besides do you really think they are going to spend the money to rent a chopper

My tip not to get busted, Dont go infront of the local police station with a sign saying I grow cannabis with a fat blunt in your mouth.

People, don't let karmaxul downplay the threat of thermal imaging and credit card purchases. The police (they own helicopters, dont have to rent) make periodic scans for residential houses emitting large amounts of heat. Karmaxul is right, they cannot obtain a warrant on this alone, but now they are suspicious of you, so they check your credit card purchases. Interesting, they find a 1000W HPS, a CO2 generator and a scale. Now they are really suspicious, so they search your trash and find suspicious refuse. Now they definately have probable cause and will obtain a warrant easily.

Little things add up. Play it safe and do everything you can to not draw attention.

Ya they can get warrants on whats in your trash no doubt I have seen it happen which is why if you grow a fireplace is vital in my opinion. Then again a steel drum is fine also to burn all your burnable trash. I dont throw out paper myself it all goes in the fireplace. The choppers really only can sense heat coming out of vents anyways. No need to really worry you can tell people you love pot just dont mention you got 1000 plants in your basement.

Man I call them all the time. They are the most confused people I have ever talked to on the phone. All I want to know is why they feel cannabis should be illegal and in the hours of calls never have i got an answer. You can check out the treats I get on kazaa under the artist deaphone. I know that it is illegal to up the sales of synthetic heroin they put on the streets, but I want them to admit it. Basically fuck the DEA

Yes, that is something that is always happening, My tip for you is drag him out of the growing room and use him organic Nutrient. If he has a tag on him that says DEA then I guess you are fuckt.
