ok, so i have been reading a lot about the lowryder and i think i want to dive into it. but, first i have some questions...
has anyone actually smoked any of the lowryder? how does the potency compare to some of the regular strains (i.e. white widow, nl, etc)?
also, what kind of light do you suggest to work best with the lowryder strain?
lastly: is there a chance that by pollenating a lowryder with a lowryder that its non-ruderalis traits could dominate in second generation and thusly making second gen seeds not lowryder?
sorry, i know its a lot of questions: but theres no reason to put money into something you arent knowledgable about. thanks again!

any plant strain crossed with a new strain creates a strain that is similar to, but not the exact same as, the first two strains.
An asian man and caucasian female give birth to a baby. That baby grows up and copulates with a caucasian man. Will their baby have asian heritage? Yes. Will it be full asian or full caucasian? No.

as for quality...its pretty tight shit...look at some of those pics and the tricomes formation.....you should get a feeling of how good they are by the pics

1. Has anyone actually smoked any of the lowryder? Yes, she smokes smooth and does the job, as long as you treat her well.
2. How does the potency compare to some of the regular strains (i.e. white widow, nl, etc)? In short, she doen't. LR is not about potency, it is about being an all around stealth plant. She is potent enough to give a decent buzz.
3. What kind of light do you suggest to work best with the lowryder strain? I would use whatever light source you use for your regular plants. She can certainly be grown under smaller wattages, because of the fact that she does not get very big, but the more light the better.
4. Is there a chance that by pollenating a lowryder with a lowryder that its non-ruderalis traits could dominate in second generation and thusly making second gen seeds not lowryder? If you selectively breed away from the more "ruderalis-like" expresions then you will eventually start to see a change within the strain, you would not create a new strain.
crossing plant A with plant B does not create a new strain, if they are of the same originatin strain then you are simply selectively breeding for desired results.
If the two strains are not of the same strain to begin with, when you cross them they become simply that, a cross (more specifically an F1 cross) not a strain.
The actual creation of a strain is a long drawn-out process that leads over many years and 1000's of plants used in the selective process, in order to deliver to you a product that is consitent.
