has anyone ever went to the emergency room after taking some drug? what if you take lsd and start having a realy bad trip, then you get taken to the emergency room? would they give you something to sedate you, or make you pass out for like 12 hours so that when you wake up it would be over? thanks.

My friend's mom caught him after taking a bunch of DXM, and took him to the hospital, where apparently they put charcoal in his stomach or something, I guess it's supposed to neutralize the DXM or something? And I heard thorazine is what they use to get people trippin balls under control...

when i was a youngster i was chillin at the dope house.
there was this old man about 78 years old.
he had spent about half his life in prison.
he loved cocaine.i used to trip on him cuz he was so old.
one day about ten of us were in the room blazin and talking shit
when uncle fester came running in and say rays dead rays dead
when i got to the room i seen the old man laying face down.
i heard " call 911 "
then i heard "fuck no not from here."
"get his ass outta here"
"what, thats fucked up call 911"
"hell na take his ass across the street "
then two baseheads carried him across the street
laid him on the grass and waited for the ambulance.

I have tripped with one of my friends mates, mates, before and she COMPLETLY freaked out....like she puked everywhere, pissed herself nasty nasty shit :(
But we called an ambulance cause she was going crazy and she was extremely violent.....so the ambulance arrived and they just stood there and were like, "what has she taken"
we explained she took 4g of shrooms
and they were just like "sorry there is nothing we can do".....

lol but we managed to get them to take her away....I don't know what they did to her....I think they probly just restrained her untill she came down....

poor girl....hope she learn't from her mistake.

I had a friend take acid and completely lose it. His girlfriend took him to the emergency room. They pretty much just talked him down until he could cope a bit better.

I used to go to a lot of Grateful Dead shows and they would always have an area set aside for dealing with people having bad trips. They just reassured people that everything would be ok. I think that just hearing that from someone who seems to be knowledgeable, like a doctor, etc, helps a lot.
