I dont have a HPS lamp yet so I've decided to spot female for cloning using a full spectrum fluo. Today is the 3rd week in 12/12 and 50 % droped their pants so far! I suppose the rest of them will show sex within the next week so I can go back to 18/6. (It takes 4 weeks under a fluo ... Now that long!)
My question : I it dangerous to put them back in 18/6 after 4 weeks of floering under fluo ... HERMIE prone? I want to clone them, not flower them!
I should have gotten an HPS light right away.

How old are they?
You don't have any pre-flowers?
You should be able to tell the sex with the pre-flowers.
Or, you could leave your plants 18/6, take clones, and put the clones 12/12 to know their sex.

I'm not sure exacly how to spot preflower?
How old are they?
2 1/2 months
Or, you could leave your plants 18/6, take clones, and put the clones 12/12 to know their sex.
Lack of space was the problem!
I will be done with sexing in 1 week (4 weeks in total ) and I hope I dont get hermie because of the long flowering period to spot female under fluos. I will put them under a 24/0 light cycle for 3 to 5 days to force them back into VEG and then 18/6 for 2 to 3 weeks before I start cloning.
Any advice ?
