Hello

I have a question about laws regarding marijuana in Alaska. I have heard/read that we can have 4 ounces in our houses and I have also heard it may be legal to grow personal plants.

I find the growing part hard to believe and I guess the 4oz part is hard to swallow, as well

I looked all over the net for official word but just can't find it.

Do any of you know what the laws are up here?

I just moved here and have not smoked in a very long time. I grew up in Oegon so I know the pleasures of endulging 24/7/365 :) If the laws here are as I hope, I'll be smoking as soon as I find some without worries ;)

The Alaskan constitution's privacy provisions protect the personal possession and use of marijuana in the home. Possession of 4 ounces (at home) is legal by state law. Growing at home is legal unless you have more than 4 oz.

The federal laws can still be enforced.
