Hey everyone, i'm moving into a new apartment in september and was hoping to set up shop in my closet. I have a few questions though about the smell of the plant while its growing. If someone could IM me, i would appreciate it a lot. Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. It says it masks the odor fo 3-4 hours, how many times do people spray a day -- how many cans per batch?

One can should do fine with under ten or so plants. If you got a airtight room and 200 plants one should do fine. On ebay they sell things that plug in to the wall and you can set it to spray every 15 minutes if you want to.

one plant can stinnk up your ENTIRE mansion...

growers forget all the time.. they get immune to the smell...

YIKES..

if you grow you will stink...

Carbon filtering works good. Try a search for HEPA filters that come equipped to use carbon filters, maybe one with a built in ionizer.

There's a theory going around that says that ionizers are beneficial to plants plants, and that a powerful one can eliminate smell incredibly well.

Normally, right about here I'd go in for a whole scientific explanation that attempts to prove the theory, followed by a list of links from where I attained my sources. Eh, maybe tomorrow.

Where's love for the Graphman?

You dont want too much ozone, i read that it can be harmful to both your plants and you because of the free radicals(which attach to the scent molecules and take away the smell. Karma recomended the ozium for me in another post and it works great, the carbon filter should work as well. I had a weird idea of my own, what would those baking soda boxes for refrigerators do. They absorb smells from my fridge what about the smell of MJ in my closet, an experiment may be in order.

The little stoner face at the end is the icing on the cake.

What about the baking soda. More people gotta do it and post the results, i want to process the data of my experiment. Even though i have a stinking... uh er, sneaking suspicion that it wont work.
