Still can't afford one at the moment. Do you think if I keep the door open, and a regular fan blowing from the outside in, it will keep the closet cool enough?

Ya should be fine. I dont use exhaust fans myself put I know some people do. I use window ac units with weather stripping and a hole lotta duct tape. I like to keep the co2 in.

i am having heat problems , what size of fan do you think, will help me my room is 4ft by 4ft and 8 ft high i have an exaust fan but it is only one speed and i need to get something sorted soon my temps are up in the 90 during day time

They got used ones on ebay, but these are the cheapest new ones I found. I guess ebay is the same.

it says 4 inch 170 CFM and draws 0.8 amps. is this what your talking about
its a inline exaust fan i have going onto the hood

Your venting your room and hood and your having feat problems? I would just cool the room via an a/c. Its tuff to say with out knowing your climate and house heat and wattage. Man I just use a/c but the site has all sorts of things to check out.

postman i thought i answered this question before. be on the safe side and get a 265cfm exhaust fan

Yeah I would go with the 265 def. You seem to have the same problem that I have
