I wouldn't say that I like going to concerts alone, but it's definitely not a bad experience. It's a great way to meet new and interesting people.

I've haven't gone to concert alone before, but by the time I get into the crowd, and into the pit, I lose all contact with them for the rest of the show anyways. You're there to watch and listen to music, so what difference would it make if you were alone? Ya know.
I've gone to movies alone though, same thing. You're there to watch and listen, not to talk.

I like going to shows with people or by myself. Either way, as long as I get to see the show

I usually always go with someone though on occasion I have gone by myself; Blindside being the last show I saw alone.

Depends. If it's a real mellow type band where I can just relax and enjoy the show, the only friend I take is maryjane. If it's more of an upbeat modern rock type show, I'll go with my buddies and have an awesome time, again with mary jane.
Depends on whos playing, for me.

My Father will go to concerts by himself. I can't remember if I ever did, but I wouldn't mind. It'd give me a chance to meet new people.

It's a little different when there's concerts at the beach, a mile and a half from your house, 3 in a span of 30-something blocks, three days a week.

If I were a guy, I wouldn't mind going to concerts alone. Never have to worry about finding friends afterwards or keeping up with them (if they're in the pit). But it's fun to be with people too.
But since I'm a girl, I would just feel safer having someone with me. I don't think I could ever go to a HUGE arena show alone. Little shows down at the corner bar, sure.. that's fine. But big concerts, no way. I'll take someone with me. :)

I saw a show at the Landmark alone (YES) while attending school and it turned out fine. The venue is an actual historical landmark, with the old style fold down velour chairs. Go and have fun. If you've never been to the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse you got to go. Once inside, the coolness of the place itself will prevent you from going into a funk. With all the coffee shops and bars on Marshall you should (probabaly could) find some with the same tastes as you.
Have a great time.
