Nice design :)
Don't get the From Dusk Till Dawn tattoo. I've already got it lol
Tribal is hard to keep looking good too. Out of the 20 tattoos I've had done its the tribal that lost the colour quickest. Be careful what the hell you guys post on here!!, everybody goes on these sites not giving a shit and saying how the law dont care about us small time weed tokers. Yeah right!!.
They gave enough of a shit to go and bust overgrow for seeds, come on there only seeds for god sakes!

BTW I know several VERY legit marihemp peeps and can help out if anybody needs anything. www.freewebs.com/herbalhouse and use the email at the bottom

Try something original... Tattoo's are supposed to mean something.. not just something you saw from a movie.

The best tattoo is an unplanned tattoo..the very first tattoo you get should be unplanned.. spur of the moment kind of thing. From there you add on, edit and design your own canvas of self satisfaction.
...well...obviously you plan to a certain degree, but if you plan to much you never end up doing it, so...

As long is it means something to you.. if it doesn't then you're just colouring on yourself with ink that doesn't come off..and sometime down the road, you'll regret it. It doesn't have to mean shit to anyone else.. because they're not living with it. :)

I've posted it before, but here's mine.. The Cannabian Flag. Canadian,Green Blooded and proud...that and it drove my folks up the walls when they saw it :smokin: . It was fairly unplanned.. i knew i wanted a tattoo.. but i didn't plan on its content, colour or size at the time.. it just.. turned out the way it did.. and i wouldn't go back if i could.

I have big plans for my back...things i'd like to have added.. just a matter of courage to go forward :)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v340/Graehstone/Graehstone/GraeBack.jpg

The above took approx 19 hours total. I have about a third of my entire body Tattooed as I used to work as an artist in Germany many years ago.
I am part Lakota and big time into all things avian, hence the birds and Native American who represents the God of Thunder. As the birds take flight the beat of their wings becomes the thunder of the storm yet to come.

I get the feeling a lot of people get tattoo's just for the sake of getting a tattoo.. it doesn't necessarily mean anything to them.. they just follow the flock like sheep. why else would he pick something else somebody has drawn in their spare time, rather than design a piece of art that actually meant something to him.

Some people miss the whole point of having something permanently ink'd into your body...

At least some of us will have stories to tell their grandkids...chisme's got it pretty easy though.. he can just have a copy of "From dusk till dawn" to explain the origin of his tattoo's.

:(
I just don't get it.

That's a bitchen tatoo, man. Possibly one of the best I've ever seen. Although I have no American Indian blood, I have always been intrigued by the cultures of many tribes throughout America.

By the way, did you design the tatoo yourself? I ask since you mentioned being an artist yourself in your post.

Take care...

I totally agree, whenever anyone asks me about mine, and says they want one too, I always tell them to find a design that means something to them first and then go to get the tat. Not go to the shop and find a design. It's like, how many girls have the same little rose or butterfly? Baaaa

Why thank you for the compliment. No, I did not design this one myself. I had waited many years trying to figure out what I would like to have on my back as I think that to be one of the more important places to get work done.
I ran across the design in an art gallery as a painting here in La Jolla many years ago and it haunted me for too long. The haunting went away when it was finished. ;)
It eventually was done by my "mentor" in Germany.
There are others that I have that I designed and if I find the pictures I will see if I can post them.
There are a few that I am proud of if I have to say so myself. :smokin:

I'm ready and waiting....

What age group are you in ganjagirl? It isnt about age it is about expressing a part of yourself through your choice of tattoo.

As for piercings i'm not really into them and even though I'm sure some guys would love to see your pierced nipples I don't think this is the right place to show them.

Yeah, I suppose the back is most important since it is the largest "canvas" you have to work with that is uninterupted. You have to make it count.

Would be great to see some of your other work, hope you are able to post them soon.

i agree. tattoos are works of art, they should have meaning and relevance. i dont believe in gettin tattoos just because they look cool and i dont believe in getting a tattoo from the wall.
anyway, i have a black plum blossom on my hipbone. its reminiscient of chinese woodblock print. i designed it myself, its about 4 inches in diameter. i toiled for months and months over what to get. it has a lot of symbolism, too much to explain. but basically it is a reminder of my childhood and my blossoming into a woman.
i just finished the study for my next tattoo. it will be a color dogwood blossom.to be on my foot (ouch i know, but the pain is part of the journey) also reminiscient of a chinese woodblock print but in much more detail and complexity. so anyway, i grew up surrounded by dogwood trees. they are very close to my heart. we had a rope swing on a dogwood tree and i would spend hours swinging and admiring the blossoms during the spring. we also had a dog named dogwood (we called her 'doowop' for short)
all in all, tattoos are art. they are stories and ideas, pain and pleasure, memories and honor, they are forever

and what i love about it being on the hipbone is that you only see it if i want you to. tho it sometimes pokes out under low cut jeans, if i dont tell you about it, you dont know its there.

My three; I've got plans for loads more though. The one that looks kinda like a skull / demon thingy is my boyfriend's second one, which he's only just had done.

lol thanks for the advice but if i did go to prison and anyone got arsey id be like its my body, my right, and if they got more arsey then things wud be dealt with. I get tattoos cos i want them, not cos its gta do with anyone else, if an aryan came up to me and had a go id tell him to fuck off and mind his own business, probly just jealous cos my web is better than his haha. Seriously though i wuldnt care cos thats the sorta stuff i hate about this world, hopefully i never go to prison though
