hey i know this has been asked a lot but im makin a few cds for me and my friends to get high to and listen to when we are high. maybe we can get a list of some good songs to put on a cd. as i said before i liek all kinds of music, but this time i'm looking to make a couple of classic rock/bunch of hippie shit cd's .. with songs that absolutely should be listened to high. and if you all could be specific that'd be cool. like don't just say ANYTHING by pink floyd or soemthing like that. I'm looking for the names of songs and the artist if you know who sings it and stuff.
thanks :rasta:

I'll start:

"good morning vietnam"

My friend made the ultimate groove cd. Got some Beetles (I AM THE WALRUS, COO COO CA CHOO), and this one Apex Twin song where it's like heavy techno and there's a voice that just growls "I want your soul". I listened to it on shrooms and thought it was saying "I want your shrooms!". Surprisingly it didnt scare me. Also I noticed that the Beetles refer to other songs of their's inside their songs. In the Eggman, I'm pretty sure I heard "Lucy in the Sky", and some other phrases in other songs from other songs.

Gordon Lightfoot?? LOL. Damn man, how old are you?

Actually, I like Gordon Lightfoot. My wife and I saw him in concert a few years back. I aks how old you were because when we were at the concert the guy next to us pointed out that we were theo youngest ones there. And we're in our mid 30's :p Canadian Railroad Trilogy, and Edmund Fitzgerald are good tunes too.

Good call on Band On The Run. Definitely some of McCartney's bets post-Beatles stuff. The whole CD is good.
