illumination.. makes use of any escaping light, reflecting it back to the plant.. its also used for cooking.., its the thin paper-like metal foils ppl cook food on, in ovens..

Mylar is much better than aluminum foil for the walls of your growroom.

Use the dull side of the foil to reflect light as mirrors absorb it. I use white dull paint myself.

yeah befour i discovered mylar i lined my grow room with foil i placed the foil on the wall so the dull side was showing then i placed see thru poluthene over the top so i could wash it down without damaging the foil the polythene has a shine to it too so that helps now i have pieces of mylar in the room in sertain spots that reflect the light back to the plant
the mylar is better than foil cause it has a 98% reflectabillity to it and its not that dear really
