I think it's near Horsham.

Has anyone heard of this spot? A colleague of mine told me of a lake in some woods, not far from the A25. Apparently it's deadly quiet all the time. No wind noise, no birds, no traffic, no animals... Spooky.

It's always sounded to me like an ideal place for a cheeky smoke. And it's on the Pilgrim's Way, which runs right past one of my regular haunts round here.

Obviously it's a little out of the way for me to go just for a cheeky spliff or two, but I was wondering if anyone else had been here for a smoke? We'd be kindred spirits of the North Downs or something equally poncey.

I love places like this! Just spent the last few hours trying to work out where it is and such .. a must visit for me now  thankshoes!

Let me know if you pay it a visit yourself or fancy venturing with meh!

Do you know any places more local? I often go walking/rambling/hiding in Keston Woods, leads down to High Elms .. dont suppose you know it. Seem to recall you being in Rochester??

Awesome. Did you go? I still haven't managed to get there yet.

I had a look at some websites to do with Keston Woods. Looks really cool, really tranquil. Maybe I'll take a trip up there one time. Being in Rochester, I do most of my rambling around and about the North Downs. It's jolly nice. Obviously I'm not overly keen on giving directions to my favourite smoking spots out online, but basically I'm an advocate of the "Find a nice spot in a country park where you're not causing any trouble to anyone" policy.

Have you seen www.headheritage.co.uk? It's got loads of interesting spots on it, mainly with standing stones and such. Do take litter home with you though! :rasta:
