Help! Did I buy the wrong igniter/ballast?

Hello!
Please take a look at the igniter and ballast here (http://tomas.uw.hu/stuff.jpg).
I could not get them to work together, along with a 400W SON-E bulb.
If someone would be so gentle to explain me if I bought something wrong? Cause the schematics differ, and I suspect that the ballast is of a wrong type.
Help me pleeeease!!

Couldn't say, my ballast already had an ignitor in it, maybe your's does as well, and the 2 are cancelling each other out?
If it's all right though, chances are its a wiring issue.

Umm, have you checked the picture? It clearly shows on the ballast that it needs an external ignitor. I tried several wiring schemes, but none of them worked, sadly... I am really in a panic now...

I saw the picture, but I'm not an electrician.
Just trying to help. Yes, I saw IGN, but it's something I never had to deal with.
Perhaps your ignitor is broken?
Perhaps your ballast is broken?
Perhaps your fuse is gone?
Perhaps your plug is wired incorrectly?

See, there's a million thing's that could be wrong, so I was offering an idea, you probably hadn't thought of.
