re-moistening bud

ok ive got this nice kb, but its a bit dry. i put some banana peel in there to remoisten it, but....how long am i supposed to leave it in there?

It really doesnt matter, but i wouldnt suggest a banana peel. I would use a moist paper towel or some orange peels. Keep it in as long as you want, depends how wet u want the bud.

chop up a couple carrots and leave it i nthe bag for a day and a half the bud will be wet

ok if u take all the peels from 1 banana, i put about 1/4 of that in the bag.

if i leave it in there for like an hour and a half, will it be moist?

but seriously, a couple of orange peels in ther for about 3 hours should get it moist again. i swear, someone should sticky the orange peel method. there's like 3 threads a week about how to remoisten bud.

Banana peels are nasty and full of pesticides. I take a pan, boil water, and let the steam re-hydrate my dry buds

^that is the best way. Using vegetable peels introduces bacteria and can, in some cases, cause mold. I just take the bag, boil a kettle, and fill the bag with steam, then seal it and wait an hour. simple, and no risk of wrecking your stash. Next best is a moist papertowel folded into a small square. Putting a decomposing banana peel in there is just asking for mold and bacteria and other nasty stuff

If you use a peel, use a lemon peel. The easiest way to rehydrate a bud is just to run water on your hand, let some drip off, and flick a little bit into the bag and shut the bag for a while.

whats your method of getting the steam to the buds?
You set one pan in another with a lid on it. The pan you sit on the inside is smaller and has holes in the bottom. I believe the name of the pan is called a double boiler/steamer design.

You can also put a few buds in a little hand strainer and hold it over boiling water. It only takes seconds
