Cinderella 99 (Anyone ever grow this strain?)

I'm looking to grow this strain, but want to know a little more about it before I put out for the seeds. Does anyone have any experience growing this one? If so, let me know how it went, and how strong, and what type of high c99 produces. I'd love to see a grow journal with C99 in the mix . . .

Also, is it easy to grow this strain indoors, and is it worth it?

I have never grown it but it sounds great if its a stout sativa that flowers in 50 days. Sativas have a very energetic high as the thc of sativas does not degrade into cbc or other compounds that give a more hazy high.

I just put my germinated NL99 seeds into the dirt yesterday ... Northern Lights X Cinderella 99 ... I originally planned on straight Cin99, but was a bit put off by warnings it is TOO high of a buzz ... the 'paranoid', nervous weed it can be , so I chose the NL99 instead ... supposedly the Northern Lights Indica settles out the Cin99 sativa better ... regardless, the Cinderella 99 is one of the Super-powered Sativas out there ... Ive heard more comments about getting "too high" with it, and no negatives, except for the antsy paranoia tendency ...
DAMN, I cant wait to try a smoke that sounds SCARY !!! :stoned:

I prefer NL over C99, cuz comercial means everything in the east (NY)...

C99 is a very nice strain to be honest though, it's potent and productive so why not?...

If you get antsy that means you are bored, which can happen when you smoke cuz it makes you more creative and being more creative you need more to do. I call it herbal inspiration

C99 sounds pretty good! I've read it was a trippy type high, and I love that trippy sh!t! I wish overgrow was still up, then I could read some grow reports in the strain guide section. Female seeds has a feminized c99 that takes a bit longer to finish, and it didn't say anything about 'paranoia'. That would be sweet, the trip w/o the big "P"

They only cost 15 UK pounds for ten seeds, but not sure what that equates to in U.S dollars. Still not too expensive, so I'll probably go for it. Anyone know how she handles nutes, and relatively high temps? Is she a fairly hearty plant like NL? That would be sweet, too. I've never grown indoors before, and I'm sure to make some mistakes.

I was going to go with Kali Mist, but she grows too tall, and takes too long to finish. C99 sounds like a great alternative . . .

I'd like to, but I don't have a camara. Also, I don't know how safe it is to make a log like that, being that there seems to be a crackdown on sites like this, and I'm also worried about the patriot act being renewed. Leo can do all kinds of things now. (Cough, cough "BULLSHIT"!)

I guess I could do a log w/o pics, but what's the point? It will be a while before I start growing, anyway. I still need to build my room and get the lights, and fans together . . . money's tight./shrug

I want to see someone else's log with C99 in the mix, but it doesn't look like anyone has created one . . . Maybe I'll be the first? (If I can get over my 'LEO' paronoia)

I was wondering about that! Haze takes a while to finish, I just wonder how the Cindy will effect that? She's said to finish in just 7-8 weeks, and she doesn't get as tall as most Sativa's.

Flowering period differs from strain to strain but nevils haze is a min of 10 weeks to flower.

I'll probably order more than 5 at a time, and I'll be going with a soil medium. I haven't picked up the lights yet, but planning on a 600 to 800 watt HPS for flowering. I'll be using flouros for veg. That's plenty for a five plant grow, imo.

I'm not sure where to order from yet. There are so many seed banks offering Female seeds. I'm just gonna look around til I find one thats suits me.

Any suggestions?

I can make a few.
1: www.dope-seeds.com very good site nice selection they get all my buisiness.
2: When you buy the lights get a MH/HPS switchable ballast costs a few bucks more but worth it. Go MH(Metal Halide) for veg then HPS for flowering it will improve your grow alot.
I have tried many methods and I run MH 18/6 for about 4-5 weeks then go HPS for flowering.
Jiffy pellets are good for starting a soil grow.

i got the c99 from female nl
growing right now.
they gave me trouble at the start.
i vegged em on 1-1-06 and they are still
under fluros.i got 4 left out of 5.[damn dog]
but i will keep two for outdoors and will
toss the others in my flower room soon.

What kind of flouros are you using, Owl? The tubes, or the cfl's. Did you veg with the blue specrum bulbs. If not, that may be the reason they are still vegging?

"Ciderella 99 received her name because, like the well-known fairly tale heroine, she is a high-class girl with humble origins. Orginally, the Brothers Grimm developed the F1 generation of Cinderella 99, but they discontinued their business, making the strain unavailable. Gypsy Nirvana commisioned the breeders at Nirvana to produce the F2 generation. They selected two top perents and concentrated on reviving a version of Cinderella that retained the "traits package" of delious flavor, sativa high, ang a quick finish.
The F2 Cindy was selected and stablized. When planted in 3gallon soil bucket, Cinderella 99 yields 50 grams of dried bud on average - not a huge cornucopia of pot yield, but a respectable-size harvest of premium slow-smoking buds. Cinderella's bud construction is very dense for sativa-dominant plant, with a friuty aroma and a nice sugary resin coating. For those unfamiliar with brothers grimms Cinderella 99, it was described as â??THE HOLY GRAILâ?� and is by far one of the most resiny and fruity strains available.. I preferred the pineapple tasting pheno and selected the most pineapple flavoured over several generations to isolate the flavour â?¦ this plant smells more like pineapples than pineapples do themselves and is absolutely bursting with huge amounts of rich resin glands â?¦ the high is very soothing , yet can initiate activity and stimulate your thoughts as more sativa leaning strains do â?¦. and i have a friend who has oodles of c99 x neville's haze seeds (f1's from original stock) due to an accident last year...along with master kush and blockhead, both bred with the same haze male. neville's haze is a faster than normal finisher for a haze (end of oct to mid-nov) and should be a nice blend for the c99. testers have been sent out but of course it's way too early for results other than they are viable.

I got one C-99 out of 5 crushed seeds. She's strongly scented with pink grapefruit. Her buds were fat and hard. And she's a keeper! I have 3 clones of her about 3 weeks into flower. Since I like a heavier stone and am growing under fluoros, I let her go 9 weeks.

my 'Joey Weed' NL99 is fantastic ! ... a hybrid of Northern Lights/Cinderella99, it is the best I have ever smoked ... truly one-hit weed for most tokers ... after smoking it daily for 3-4 months, I see absolutely no tolerance build-up ... great for a stealth grow, as it has virtually no odor, maybe a faint whiff of lemon ... I took them 9 weeks, and harvested when just a few trichomes appeared as amber, since I prefer an UP high ... I got just over 1.5 ounces of dried, manicured buds off my plant, which was grown entirely under fluorescent tubes (twelve 4-foot tubes, 480-watts total) ... I gave a clone to a med-user friend, who grew it out under a 400-watt HPS, and he will be harvesting this week ... looking at it, it is safe to say he will get close to 3 ounces of dried, manicured buds ... his is one of the finest examples of a plant I've ever seen, it is perfection (and, its the FIRST time he's grown!!!) ... lucky bastard ! ... :D ... honestly, the Joey Weed NL99 may be the ideal indoor plant, so simple to grow, and refuses to hermie ... I know, I spent a lot of time mistreating the hell out of mine, trying to turn her, to no avail (I want seeds) ... enjoy ! ... :smokin:
