1,i have a 400w grolux lamp for 6 plants is that 2 high cos its using loads of electric?

2,how long do i leave them on a 18/6 light cycle b4 putting them on a 12/12

3,ive just ordered a nutrient meter,how do i use it with vita gro nutrients?

i grow with hydroponics/rockwool

You might be able to get by with a 250 watt bulb. The 400 is the but depending on how large the grow space is 250 could work just as good. Leave the plants on the 18/6 till you see your plants starting to pre-flower at least. This is where you will see signs of sexual development at the calyxs of the plants. You can leave it in 18/6 light longer past this point if you want to make the plant grow larger before flowering it.

wut he said iz rite. keep it 18/6 AT LEAST untill flowerin iz juss startin 2 begin. i usually wait till a lil after, dependin on how the plant iz commin. if u want to extend buddin, leave it 18/6 fer a lil longer, but dont overdo it. id wait to decide untill u see how it duz, cuz u may wanna give it more light 2 grow it longer.
