Hi, just wondering if anyone gets really tired the day after smoking a few bowls...I used to smoke quiet regularly with no probs but cut down after having a collapsed lung, and now after smoking before going to bed or evening i usually feel like crap the day after....

If I am still fairly high when I fall asleep, I feel like shit the next day. Feel all slow and lethargic. As long as a smoke at least an hour to 1 1/2 hours before i gto bed it's all good.

I cant help but have the before bed bowl each night, it feels like it improves my sleep quality. My problem is if I do during the daytime I feel drowsyish and and a little off mentally for most of the rest of the day, any comedown cures?

Yeah, smoke more, then you're high again, you'll get sleepyier when you come down again, but hey, another cure or two is eat a lot of food or drinks lots of caffiene.

best comedown cure in the world is adderall but that's kind of up to you if you want to pursue it or not.

smoke a little more when you get up, it doesnt even have to be a full bowl just a little bit to get you buzzed, that usually gets rid of that feeling for me unless the weed is like 100% indica (which i rarely can get where i am)

i always notice that if i smoke and then go to sleep, i don't feel as rested in the morning as when i go to sleep sober. it's become obvious to me because i can go to bed at 3 AM and feel less tired waking up at 6 AM if i'm sober, but if i went to bed at 10PM adn woke up at 6 AM after being high the night before, i'll feel more tired.

If I smoke at night and then sleep high I'll wake up feeling slightly dazed and feel like I've been sleeping for a week or so.

I cant sleep at all without a little smoke. But im high strung and stressed most of the time. My worse mornings are when Ive eaten late the night before. munchies. But for me, a smoke or two beats counting the damn sheep any night.

I remember hearing somewhere that weed reduces the amount of a persons REM sleep. That's the deep sleep when dreams occur. So, if your reducing your deep sleep it does make sense that you are tired the next day.

i smoked up last night, and today i was a useless bag of feces. i fell asleep every class, and ended up not hearing the last dismissal bell and leaving like 20 minutes after school got out.

I disagree with that because i feel that under periods of heavy smoking i get more vivid dreams in that period.

I definitely agree. Now, if I'm planning on going to bed around 1am, I won't smoke after say 10pm... that way I'll still be functional waking up at 10 the next morning...

I don't dream at all when I am smoking, so I believe that REM is decreased when you get high. When I take breaks, after about 2 days of not smoking, I'll start dreaming again :) They are always very real, vivid dreams, definately more than I can ever remember. Your brain is apparrently trying to make up for the loss of REM sleep
