I went to the last Canadian Ozzfest. I think it was 2001, although I'm not super-sure. I definately remember seeing a ton of people smoking weed, and I vividly recall seeing a pair of teenage girls carving "Marylin Manson" in to their chests and a vast majority of the crowd walking around naked. Also, I found it funny how the entire venue ran out of bottled water and people started lining up to pay to get sprayed with a firefighters hose. I liked the line-up though, back then I was more in to that kind of music. Ozzy, Manson, Distured, Static-X, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Papa Roach (I think). It was good times :)

I went to ozzfest 2005.. MAN 2006 sucks THERE IS NO MUDVAYNE THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! Mudvayne kicked fucking ass at darien lake last year they own the entire fest. I am def. looking forward to seeing SOAD and disturbed and SYL ill be at ozzfest 06

that reminds me of last year at darien lake.. it was so damn hot people were lined up in the bathrooms taking turns splashing their faces with water, i about overheated it must have been atleast 90 in an open field the sun just beating down on everybody... oh dear i still remember chad greys famous words "has everybody been drinkin beer all day?" crowd : yeah! chad: has everybody been smokin weed all day?" crowd : YES! chad "well if you been drinkin beer all day and smokin weed all day you must be pretty... happy" then they preformed"happy" :p

Awesome, that reminds me ...Mudvayne was at the one I was at too, I knew I was forgetting somebody.

The more water ran out the more they jacked the prices, I heard people complaining about $20 bottles of water, and this is people selling already purchased half-filled bottles and stuff. There was 2 crappy indoor stages and the 2-3 main ones were outside on tarmac in mid summer ... I think a spray with the hose was $10, it was insane.

ok ok strapping young lad and system of a down are good too. That makes 3 bands...still, i guess its better to kick it at ozzfest than sitting in your living room staring at the wall waiting to die

I was hoping the rumors that metallica would be headlining were true but im sorry to say they arent..oh well atleast ill be high

System, Hatebreed, Strapping, Bleeding Through, Norma Jean, Unearth, FBC, BLS...those are all badass bands man! I'd love to go again if they came around here.

The only time I went was in 1999. I travelled, lets see, 4hrs to Lethbridge, then another 8 to Seattle to catch the show. I saw Slayer that year, with Pantera, Slipknot. Hands down some of the best madness I've ever witnessed in my life.

id only go to see ozzy and system.... its not happening in the uk anyway so it dont matter

the best ozzfest here was '98, black sabbath, ozzy, pantera, slayer, fear factory, soulfly, entombed, pitchshifter, coal chamber, therapy?, human waste project and many more..... i cant remember them all...... but i think that was the best metal fest ive been too..... not the best fest ive been to by any stretch of the imagination.... im a much calmer person now
