lovethats the only pic i have for now but i dont see any bugs but i did see one i kill it,i wasn't sure what it was.It was laying on the topside of the leaf.i have looked numerous time underneath the leaves but no signs i have a 6x magnifying glass and still no signs of bugs.my temps do get to 90 sometimes which we all know is a little hot and the mites like it and right now im on thirty some odd days of flowering.I came this far im not going to loss to no freaking mites,I have no time to take chances and no time for errors. If more pics need I'll post them as some as i get a chance.

If you get mites you will see the webs before they begin to take over the plant. They look like little red dots on the bottom of the leaf. The burnt tips and curling is do to a high ion content of the mix. (to many ferts) The spots follow the channels which is odd. Do you folair?

Not a good idea it creates hot spots. It is fine if not under the lights when the water is on the leaf. it can create hot spots and leave burn spots like the ones you see on the leaf in the picture. do your inner leaves that grow in the shade have these spots?

100% GUARANTEED SPIDER MITES IS WHAT YOU HAVE.

Start the soap and water spray system...and you have a BIG problem, as infestation has already taken hold.

I had to take my tomato plants and cut off the entire lower growths off the main stem, they were so bad.

You got a real issue and a real challenge.

read the threads about how to kill them...and control them.

You are mite free my friend. The mites feed off of the stoma on the under side of the leaves and damage that side first. I think that happened from misting. Are the leaves not in direct light spotted like that?

Thats the culprit then. I figured that as the water is most abundent in the channels and thats where all the spots are. No more misting and you will get no more spots.

May want to cut down on the tds a bit, say like half of what you are using. The leaves will not curl as much or the tips burn.

TDS:

Total dissolved solids.

Total Dissolved Solids:

The sum or all inorganic and organic particulate material. TDS is an indicator test used for wastewater analysis and is also a measure of the mineral content of bottled water and groundwater. There is a relationship between TDS and conductivity. In general, for the San Antonio River basin, TDS/.6 approximates conductivity. Or, conductivity * .6 approximates TDS. People monitoring water quality can measure electrical conductivity quickly in the field and estimate TDS without doing any lab tests at all. See specific conductance.

Karma will now go on lecture about how the TDS in the bottom of the pot can build up and you probably need to try a garden sprayer.

<3

Basically water when the top is dry and the bottom is a little bit moist and try not to let it run down the sides.

Man I would but I just spent over a hour doing just that, I forgot the garden sprayer part though. Good look. http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=54854

love LOL

another thing,,,, karma.. although the mites eat from the bottom of the leaf.. I have never seen damage n the bottom.. and I have seen plants completeley covered in webbing.. COMPLETLEY... 3 foot plants COVERED under one giant web...
YES..ONE giant WEB on a 3 foot plant.. I wil have pictures fo you all.. very soon.... and still no damage under the leaves.. the damage always manifests on the top of the leaf..... bugs on the bottom..underside...

you can tell that I am savoring this moment..... ahahah

Fuck I hate it when i am wrong.

Did you look at the leaf under the microscope?

If not, please do.

If you did, and saw no mites, no eggs, or no black specs of shit laying around, then I am wrong.

But, I am smoking a nice fattie of some home grown white russian.

You know, thats a good fricking strain. Smelly as hell, and cant carry it around with you, but still, a nice strain.

Good call guys...my bad...thanks for being better than me.

If you're using tap water, well.. don't. Just tell me if you are or aren't, ha.

He's mainly talking about nutrients. Keep 'em really low. Marijuana likes to get a tolerance on fertilizer just like we get a tolerance to marijuana.

This quote has me baffled....

With spider mites, it is rare to see the damage from the underside of the leaf. You would see it on the top surface first, since that is where they attack from the underside.

They penetrate the topside first FROM THE UNDERSIDES to steal the chylorophly without being dedected.

I have personally battled these fuckers by the thousands and never once saw any damage to the underside.

It still looks like spidermite damage to me, except the channeling does appear to be foiler listing of whatever.

Anyhow, you need to use a loop to look for eggs and mights,,,visually inspecting with human eyes doesnt cut it.

And webbing is NOT a spider mite wide habit. Some do, some dont, depending on the strain and the level of infestation.

Good luck and I hope it isnt mites you have.
