Just wondering if anyone could tell me how many plants would I be able to grow with a 16" horizontal from nblighting.com Also, as money isn't really an issue for this, does anyone think there is any other light source that is a better deal or has anyone been successful with nblighting?

yes.. if money is no object... get 1000 watt HPS...
and exhaust to pull heat away.. ideally get a cool tube
