yes noob question... I know how many grams go into an ounce and all that but about how big is a gram? About the size of a quarter (the coin)? I just want to be able to eyeball a bag and make sure I'm not getting ripped off.

It depends on the density. if it looks compact, then thats about right, but if its leafy then maybe a little larger.

you're talking about weed right?? and if you are a gram aint too much weed, so it's not that easy to get ripped off.

if you give somebody anykind of money for a gram, i'm assuming $10ish, be happy they sold you a dime :)

thats true but thats also how a lot of dealers make their money. Selling dimes would cover and ounce easily. By the half way column, you'd have like a half o for yourself...

Around here a straight gram weighs 1.5, but usually you can buy 1.8-2.1 grams anytime. It depends on the dealer.

28.5 grams in an Ounce.
1/2 Oz = 14 g's
1/4 = 7 g's
1/8 = 3.5

For High Grade(Chronic), it's around $15 a gram here.

You shouldn't even bother with dimes...Get an ounce and you get so much more with your money, its worth saving it because at 27ish grams then you can easily get high 27 times by yourself, assuming its decent-quality.

Get a scale if you can, then you don't have to worry about getting ripped off as long as you know prices.

Well people around here just refer to dimes as grams, honestly. And a straight "gram" around here weighs 1.5, but you can usually get 1.8-2.1 grams all the time.

haha a gram is a maybe 3 fair sized buds. Depends on how compacted they are. A 1 dollar bill also weighs 1 gram, incase you have a scale of some sort.
