View Full Version : Next Day After Smoking

I'm new to smoking pot, and I've only done it about 9 times. I enjoy it, but everytime after doing it, the entire next day I feel like I'm in a really cloudy state. It's an extremely weird feeling. Is it like this for everyone, or is it just something that happens to me? Is there anyway to prevent this (besides not smoking)? Thanks for the help.

You'll get used to it or it'll go away eventually. I never experienced this but a friend of mine did. Luckily it went away for him.

I used to feel like everything was surreal after a night of smoking. My body felt strange and sometimes I just felt like I was straight up stoned. That was about a year ago when I started smoking, never happens now. I guess it just goes away...

Yeah, that's exactly how I feel man. The next day everything just feels weird and at times kinda feels like I'm high. It's not a horrible feeling, I'd just prefer to feel normal the next day.

See I've been smoking every day for a while now, and that never happened to me until I started taking hits from a glass-on-glass roor. It eventually went away, though.

I was just about to ask that question.

It seems like me and you have the same amount of experience with pot, ive only smoked about 8-9 times and there are a bunch of things I wonder about.

Like what causes my throat to feel like its bleeding or melting? Is it the heat from the smoke?

mostly its from the toxins in the smoke irritating the sensative membranes of your throat. heat affects your throat slightly, but is most damaging to your lungs. to avoid this use a water bong, possibly with some ice cubes in it to cool down the smoke before it enters your lungs.

Are you sure your head is in a cloudy state? Or are you percieving that it is.

I feel like that most of the time, and I know what you mean by saying that it's not a bad feeling, it's just that you'd like to feel normal. Completely agree.

Anyways, does anyone know if weed really gives cancer? If it does, I'm just going to use on the weekends. I would do the research myself, but I have a hard time believing what the US government has to say....

It depends on how you smoke. If you smoke out of a bong, almost all tar (what causes lung cancer) is filtered. If you smoke joints, and you're worried about lung cancer, switch to a bong.

That being said, I feel the need to mention that THC actually fights cancer, and while it is known to cause bronchitis, scientists are still determining whether it is capable of causing lung cancer.

i know how.

dont smoke so much.

take me for example. if i smoke one bowl, on a scale from 1-20 of highness i will be about a 16-17. if i stop smoking after that one bowl, i wont feel all cloudy and out of it the next day.

but, if i keep smoking and smoke like 4 bowls, ill be about a 19-20 of highness, and will feel completely out of it the next day

if one bowl will get you stoned, dont smoke 4! you will feel out of it the next day, and plus you will have wasted alot of weed.

thats just me though.

I felt this one morning after smoking over an eighth within 3 hours. This reminds me of the feeling I got when I tried nutmeg. Made me feel a little high, but was not worth it at all due to really intense fatigue the whole next day.

WHAT! nutmeg gives you a headchange??
