darker environment = higher?

me and my bud plan on getting another friend high for the first time and he was sayin that we should blaze at night and in a darker kind of room because that way h'ell get more blitzed...

any truth in this??

i suppose if its darker he will relax more and feel higher....but ive never heard of smoking in that dark getting you higher lol

placebo....its also a well known fact that lighting the bowl with your left hand gets you higher then with the right, same applies for joints

I think when it's dark in a room, you're focussing (mentally) on less things around you, so i think your attention is turned inwards to yourself, so you maybe give the 'high' more attention and so feel more stoned. I always feel more stoned in a dark room on my own than when im with friends in a lit room, most likely for this reason.

Once I smoked a joint in my completley dark room and felt absolutely nothing. Then I turned on a lamp and a few seconds later it hit me. It was like since I could not see anything my brain didn't have anything to appreciate or something. I don't know I was smoking crap weed at the time. Perhaps Ill try it again tonight.

I think it's just that the less outward things you focus on, the more you focus on your high.

When it's light out, your focus is on the world around you, so you don't feel so high.

When it's cold out, your focus is on how cold it is, so you don't feel so high.

That said, I love blazing outside in the winter. You finish up and don't feel that high, but then you go back inside and BAM, it hits you like a brick wall!

Yeah I notice the sun bugs the shit outta me when Im baked if I dont have sun glasses..and now I can't go outside in the sun anytime without sunglasses or I can't open my eyes because they will start watering like mad.
